A Hard Working Man

A Hard Working Man

Many days have gone by and still I hear you across from the depot
There you sat on a bar stool and took off your ring
Thought I'd try to get a closer look, so I walked on over
As I sat down and started to ask him his name
Then the drinks finally had an effect on him
He then blurted out, " I say I'm no quitter!"
But I finally quit living on dreams.
I tell you I'm so hungry for laughter, for here and ever after
I am after whatever comes to me each and every other to which life has to offer.

Then I took an impish glance in the mirror and watched him
In an instant, I thought he had looked so out of place.
Then he turned and glanced my way and sat down beside me;
For an instant, a strange look was seen on his face
His huge hands were immensely calloused
He was one mighty mountainous of a man
For one moment I felt so out of place and had feared.

Then as I turned to leave, his voice had turned to molten lava
Please dear lady, can you spare the time to keep me company?
I just had the worst news so humanly possible, I just lost my papa!
Can you spare an extra hour so we can just sit here and talk;
I promise you I'll never ask you to commit to anything wild and impossible.
One look in his soft brown eyes told me that he could be trusted
Okay, I will stay with you for awhile as long as you stop playing that same song over and over.
Yes, lady, I will accommodate you to whatever you like and offer you a drink and some nice talk.

My Amaryllis

Wrote this for the contest but was to late as usual, guess the jokes on me.

My Amaryllis

Amaryllis your beauty so profound's me in the early spring
Brings off a beautiful scent as if your could initially sing
Calming effect for one and all to view and fully able to see
Developing in beauty among my flowering garden brightly
Eternal youth as when you were first a tiny ball of a bulb
Forthright to watch every step of the way as if you were small dub
Given off a profound beauty for at this special time of the year
Heartfelt color like a simple shepherdess goddess living so bright and
                                                                              near
Initially, your color invites all to want see and one and all to pick
Joyfulness in watching you grow, so, so pretty and quite slick
Keeping my flower garden so bright and colorful and real red
Loveliness and learning beside my garden view of my floral bed
Meandering and meeting of all my flowering floral flowers
Nourishing them all as if they were like my children with powers
Often I pick some to make a special floral ensemble
Precious beauty now sits on my dining room table
Quickly I water them with my plant's herbal nourishment
Readily they flourish and spreads off a beauty of sweet scent
Spreading great beauty to all my family and friends
Timeless I hungrily talk to them and offer stories of pretend
Ultimately my family love's this beauty of red flower my Amaryllis
Vibrant hues I extremely appreciate with all my enthused happiness
Welcoming this Shepherdess Goddess while I'm so close and near
Xavier will be coming over and be my loving partner so quiet dear
Yearly I pot and plant my favorite plant this lively Amaryllis
Zestily, I drink and water it with care for she is my queen plant I really
                                                                must confess.

A Buffoon of a Tune

A Buffoon Of A Tune

My boyfriend looks like a buffoon
He thought he could sing a great tune
Couldn't hold a note
Was holding a tote
Instead he flew right to the moon.

Haiku On My Family, Tears Are Not Enough

Haiku On MY Family, Tears Are Not Enough

Tears are not enough
Your death became my last breath
Lost all my siblings

In yesterdays crash
they say texting while driving
caused your untimely

death, now I survive
no family left in life
Tears are not enough

I've got an empty
whole in my heart for you all
Sitting at your graves.

My Philosophy of Love

My Philosophy Of Love

The winds up high in the heavens above mix on till the times of never is forever
These words do flow on like a fountain mingling off to the rivers as so the oceans,
Forever till all these endless hearts are all filled up as in the consuming of flatterers of ever
As one is heavenly touched with a supercharged energy of deep emotions;
Nothing can really compare to the mere thought as all the world is single
To think of things being consumed by a collage of laws being so divine
Fairest of all is one logical spirit who has brought on to meet and mingle
Have you not thought of me for I shall literally be for you with thine ?
Can you no see the mountainous steps so high it may have kissed heaven?
Then appeared so as we all heard the thundering clouds did clasp upon one another;
So there it was lost one lonely flower of my sister would tenderly be forgiven,
Does anyone not feel as if by pure disdain it did wither its elder brother?
Far off in the unreachable sunlight in clasped the illusion of our vastness of earth
For one moment the moonbeams had reached to kiss the enormity of the sea;
So with all the treasured wills of the skills thus sweet as works is well worth,
If though should not have one tender kiss, then why not me?

A Christmas Tree

A Christmas Tree

I see a Christmas tree so full of fir or pine
Where I visualize it decorated it'll look so fine,

With decorations of silver, red like stars it thus will shine
Alas with this there will be gifts, pastries food and wine.

Then there will be the Star of Bethlehem which stands so high
As I hear an angel choir comes from the beauty of the sky,

As onto this very tree many colored lights on branches lie,
and unto the beauty of great as night draws so as nigh.

Then an advent wreath is hung up on our wall;
Into our hearth is burning, warming us till all.

In the far distance we hear church bells that toll and send the call
Unto this beautiful evening that little born Jesus is born baby doll!

In everyone's life a dream one must create Activity

Posture can gain a meaningful attitude in Numbers
Numbers can create positive morals in high Volume
Volume in anything you do can bring and create Income
Income doesn't matter how much you have creates a happy Life-Style
Life-Style is what you make of it

Family Soul

I'm remembering years of so long ago
Of my family and how everyone came
And played many instruments even a banjo

My grandma used to play the violin
As my mother walked in she'd sing soprano
Even my dad would play the accordian

My grandfather played the harmonica therein
Then we'd all get together and sing many songs of
merriment with candy canes

We were like the singing family to which the angels
were flying in
These memories of years gone of so long ago

At this time of year really happy times of this I sure do know
For as all these instruments are all in sync and is
The sweetest one I know makes my hear and soul happiest in

Knowing that my grandmother is still playing her violin
With all the angels and with God in heaven in rthymic beauty
Tis in our hearts we'll be singing in sweet harmonic bliss

As if we were all blown a sweet angelic refreshing kiss.

Angels Sing Their Sweetest Song

Angels Sing Their Sweetest Song

I hear the angels singing
They're singing high and low
Their singing reaches high above
To you, to men, to one and all.

I hear the angels singing
The angels sing their gift of love
To children, women and all men.
Their chorus is the sweetest thing
To hear their wondrous voices sing
Can bring warmest thoughts to one and all
In early morning, afternoon and nightfall.

I hear the angels singing
The angels sing their sweetest songs
Of love to all mankind
Sing withe the angels and keep in mind
The angels are singing from the heavens above
Their glorious songs of love.

Who Hath Seen My Brother

Who Hath Seen My Brother

Who hath seen my thee brother more?
Someone who seeks broad things at night
Then sitting fleetingly at his very door!

His hair flauntingly willowing in the wind
With fumes of poppies swaying in slight
Thy brother is a sturdy sound kind of knight!

He may doth thus seek, scurry and find
A damsel in destitute of circumspect
Let not fear of her dour respect, respect.

Think not of her beauty's musical too
While at night the weeping willows say
A touch of stubble plains of rosy hue!

Wile doth men play violins on this breezy day
Sometimes like a whisper thou dost keep
Please hath not wake up my many sheep!

For sleepy music is laying at my door
Who hath not seen my thee brother more
My brother may have to find a beauty by score!
