A Christmas Tree

A Christmas Tree I see a Christmas tree so full of fir or pine Where I visualize it decorated it'll look so fine, With decorations of silver, red like stars it thus will shine Alas with this there will be gifts, pastries food and wine. Then there will be the Star of Bethlehem which stands so high As I hear an angel choir comes from the beauty of the sky, As onto this very tree many colored lights on branches lie, and unto the beauty of great as night draws so as nigh. Then an advent wreath is hung up on our wall; Into our hearth is burning, warming us till all. In the far distance we hear church bells that toll and send the call Unto this beautiful evening that little born Jesus is born baby doll! Written: Dec. 6, 2014 Sherri
