Now That It's Time To Say Goodnight

now that it's time to say goodnight
and time to pause the days fight
remember to close your eyes tight
and think of the stories your dreams will write.

Escaping Gravity

up down left or right
always traveling at the speed of light
always traveling out of sight
past each other
sisters and brothers
past our worries and our troubles
past our enemies and past our lovers.

north south east and west
no matter which we think is best
that direction brings us back to rest
the planet’s gravity pulls us back
since it’s generated by the masses of shadows black

the shadows which we can only see

when traveling at the speed of light to escape gravity.

No One Matters

no one matters
you don't matter
i don't matter
none of us matter

is what I Believed

everyone just want's to believe that they Matter
to believe that Their Voice matters

and i believed that This was what was Wrong with humanity

but then i realised

that people Believe that they matter
and even more
that people Believe that Others matter to Them

and i realised

because this is what people Believed
is why it was True

Everyone Matters
You Matter
I Matter

But Still I Believe That This Is What's Wrong With Humanity.

Train

I ride the train of thought through the cosmos and the heavens
I ride it through the milky pastors where night and day lasts forever
I ride it all the way to the end of the line
I ride it all the way to the end of time.

Oh Brother of Mine

Oh Brother of mine
I am sorry we didn't have a chance to speak again
Time is the greatest silencer of speech
you think that you have so much of it
and then it's gone.
How foolish we are to think that
we have time
when it is that we simply don't
but instead that it is Time which has us.

Oh Brother of mine
I am sorry we didn't have a chance to meet again
Routine is the greatest delusion of man
you think that everything will stay as it has
and now you're gone.
How foolish I was to think that
you would always be around.

Oh Lover of mine
I am sorry we didn't have a chance to kiss again
Apathy is the greatest killer of passion
you think that you will make things right
and then they leave.

Oh God of mine
I am sorry I haven't believed in you again
Life is the greatest denouncer of faith

Oh Brother of mine
I miss you (I want to see you)

Oh Brother of mine
please come back (so that I can see you)

Oh Lover of mine
I miss you (I want to kiss you)

Oh Lover of mine
please come back (so that I can kiss you)

Oh God of mine
I miss you (I want to believe in you)

Oh God of mine
please come back (so that I can believe in you)

Oh Brother of mine
                                                                      (Oh Brother)
Oh Lover of mine
                                                                      (Oh Lover)
Oh God of mine
                                                                      (Oh God)

Cast Away Your Sorrows and Fears

cast away your sorrows and fears
let go of all the things that weigh you down
and soar into the night sky
past the moon and the stars
and into the cool embrace of the universe

float motionless and look down
on everything that was and everything that is
and everything that is still to be

you may not sleep forever
but don't ever stop dreaming

hold onto infinity

Tears of the Moon

A poem for Earth Day.

She weeps every night
I hear her
I see her
She cries right through the night.

Her sorrow makes me sad
And in the morning, when I think upon the awful night She had,
I weep along
with the Moon.

She wails for the oceans, and all it's inhabitants
because they are dying from all the pollutants.
She bawls for the sky
Marred by the sickly purple smoke, billowing high.

But mostly She
cries for the trees and the flowers -
cries, that there is nothing in Her power
to save their lives.

Out comes the sun,
and still the Moon cries on.

Save the Earth. If not for it, then for yourself. Because in the end, it's still going to be around; we won't.

Why

Why is the world bleeding
Why are the children screaming
Why are the crows singing
Why are we no longer dreaming
Why are the nations tempers seething
Why are the rich feeding
                                                        while the poor are starving?

Why do we murder those we claim are heathen
Why is standing what you believe in treason
Why do the maggots keep eating
when the corpses are done decomposing?

Why do we say we are winning
when the reality is that we are losing?

Why am I asking these questions?

Why do I have to keep on asking?

I'll tell you why

It's because no one thinks that they're worth answering.

Gaurdian

little child
abandoned by the world
abandoned by our father

forgive our father's sins.

Little child
your heart is breaking
but I know I am not mistaking
your pain in this world

our father who art in heaven
hallowed be thy name.

little child
your heart is weeping
never will you find your mother sleeping
in this broken world.

I have made you cry
little child

I have known the worlds pain
little child

I have not forgiven our father.

little child
I am sorry

I must be your guardian.

little child
stop your tears.

I will keep away your fears.

little child
I will fight the world

I am your guardian.

When Did You Start To Hate Me So

When did you start to hate me so?
When you crushed my heart and thought that was ok.
I don’t know what to say.
That’s alright. You've said nothing enough already.
Is there anything I can do?
No. You’ve done nothing long enough.

You’re hurting me.
You hurt me.
I’m Sorry.
So am I.
Please.

When did you start to hate me so?
When you crushed my heart and still called me your best friend...
