Imagine a Place In Time

Imagine a place in time

Imagine that you can walk and a hold hands with love
And gently poke your lips out to give them a kiss

Imagine that you and love give birth to eternity
Your creation forever is your love of serenity

Imagine imagine

Imagine that you can cry rivers of joy
And watch them evaporate into clouds of inspiration

Imagine looking for a future that eternity births

Kids, grand kids watching them grow in great spirits, happy hearts, and never see them hurt

Imagine imagine

Imagine watching flowers grow and understand their the explanation of why we live

Not knowing how deep the roots go all the way down to ashes of the first mans sin

Imagine a place in time where it's not society job to silence the beast

The beast has his own reason maybe society took his feast

Just imagine imagine

Imagine a difference starting with you

Imagine it being man-kinds moment of enlightenment

Because the difference started with you

Imagine imagine

Imagine

Imagine a place in time

A Winning Performance

A winning performance

Two years ago I won….

I accomplished and faced my greatest fear
And I am here because my ambition wouldn't let me settle

I am here because to many opportunities have passed me by and I just let them go
I am here because if anyone I want myself to know I did it

I can stand here with pride because of the inspiration within me
I’ve showed destiny she is my enemy

I've moved on to an opportunity greater than what my own eyes can understand
And I also realize my future is in my hands

I gave credibility to the labels like depression, fear, anxiety, and even more
But those are the exact things I had to fight in this war

It wasn't the color of my skin that made me insecure
It wasn't lies that were told that discouraged my trust

It was me

I feel like Darkness is coming for me
Wanting to room in his company for eternity

But I'm just so so inspired I won't feel right if I let it get the best of me

All my life I died again and again to understand who it is I will be
And why is Destiny so territorial over me specifically

You know I'm raised up in faith
I'm raised in love
Raised in peace
Raised in inspiration
Raised in ambition

So I understand why Destiny and her friends are coming for me
Because they envy the “better” I see in me

I swear to this audience if I am the only one that hears
I'll lose my faith before I walk in Fear, Death, Darkness, Destiny, Misery,

With all due respect I will not sit in their company

Only When I See You

Only when I see you
Never in my life did I think I'd find God’s most beautiful creation
I had never forgotten so quickly that hate is just a piece of imagination
It's only when I see you my heart becomes a roller coaster It's only when I see you I feel my feet get colder
Love is a pint of what I use to describe how I feel about you
You're an eclipse that's blocking my aggression You're a noiseless butterfly that I feel needs my protection
Only when I see you
The stars twinkle are worthless
The birds morning song are soundless
The serene forest meant for a peace of mind are useless
You're elegance tip-toes across my heart You're beauty startles my eyes
Your angelic voice sang to my ears
Your presence as a whole is a comfort to my fears
Only when I see you

Stop Playing This Game

Stop playing that game

Stop it
Just stop
Don’t live at the bottom because you feel others are at the top
Stop it
Just stop

Stop playing this game I once called heartache
Don’t get so tied up where your heart decides to discriminate

Stop trying to fit in
A diamond could never camouflage with a yard of rocks
How will others be set free when you’re the key and their locked

Locked inside of stern harsh pressure
Locked in a dream that's not their own
Locked in a life where they are tormented forever

Stop feeling this hurt before it becomes real
Be the one eagle that all think doesn't exist, just live

Stop you are your families unknown future
It is you who is paving many avenues and ways
It is you the misunderstood one that they look up to

Stop it
Just stop

You don't know who you inspired
You may be spark that start another fire
A fire that must burn and never be controlled
A fire inspired by the misunderstood one who never knew the power of his soul
The power of his own ambition
The powers of the scars and the story they tell
The power of feeling heaven when life doesn't wish you well
Stop it just stop

It is you who is designed to fight to be at the top
It is you that knows how to suffer and still push on
It is you who knows what it's like fall but dreams and aspirations keep you strong

So stop it
Just stop

Blooming

it’s scary to bloom in front of the world. Put me in a pot sectioned off from all the ‘isms’. I can’t wait to tiptoe into my beauty. Every aspirations accommodating sadness. Teaching sadness to smile.

Who Are You In Your Family

I am the necessity overlooked.
I am the dependable headache.
I am the lonely comforter.
I am the imploding empath.
I am the middle child, the mid term in life, the midst of learning and applying.
I am the only boy.
I was forced to be the only man I could trust.
I was the excuse needed to not let a father be great.
I was thinking I am the healer but I’m just the hurt and my value grows when I love someone new.
I am the incomplete.
I am the gap that needs to fill the shoes.
I am the man.
I am the house.
I am the man of the house.
I am the poet.
I am the punk.
I am the weakest.
I am the nobody everyone used to validate that they’re somebody.
I am the preacher.
I am the heathen.
I am the protestor for peace.
I am the man,
I am the man,
I’m am not man enough, Is the look in the men’s eye that are in my family.
I am the man that routed for me and hated me at the same time.

I want juice to be his own king. King.

An Excavation

You had your tools to create this moment.
Discovery our truth and bring light to darkest showing.

I trusted who I wanted you to be.

You gave me all the lies baby.
You took my wings so you could fly baby.

You teal bricks & stone hearts just to see if love is compost.
You broke up to drain the one who loved you most.

I trusted who I wanted you to be until I couldn’t unearth anything else.
You was bad, you bruise, you a bullet to my mental health.

To be an excavation, you submit insinuation, then double penetrated the art of elevation…

We could’ve elevated into freedom
I trusted who I wanted you to be, that was so dumb.
