Journey

A Window Opened, a mid-day breeze,
Heartfelt compassion fallen down its knees.
Hearts at a standstill, not moving at all,
Screaming aloud “I’m weak and I’ll fall”.
Winters come, cold breezes brought in,
Chills in the body of your closest kin.
A weak red rose not moving on its own,
Makes you really wonder what you have done wrong.
Hypothetical thinking, maybe not thinking at all,
Maybe thinking critical will make then call.

A window closed, no noon-day breeze,
It’s really kind of hard fallen on your knees.
Giving into pain, blood not connecting at heart,
Loosing a friend who was there from the start.
The moon is full, no sun shines,
Grassy roads cut without sticks and pines.
Life’s a big puzzle, struggling piece by piece,
A precious girl born who’s a daughter and a niece.
Leaves fall from trees, wither then die,
A casket built of tears with a pink ribbon sigh.

Gratitude

You’ve been here
Even when I pushed away
And told me that you
Were always here to stay
You would never let me stay low
You’d always push me high
Trying with all your might
To bring happiness here at night
You showed me love
When love ran astray
Reassuring me
That I could be loved anyway
When I gave up
You didn’t give in
And when I gave in
You didn’t give up
You prayed for me
Whenever I lost hope
You’d hold my hand and say
“The Lord will make away”
Without out you and your love
Where would I be?
Because before you showed me love
I could not see
My thanks and love for you
Goes way beyond expression
And I thank God above
Cause’s you’re one of his perfections
