You’ve been here Even when I pushed away And told me that you Were always here to stay You would never let me stay low You’d always push me high Trying with all your might To bring happiness here at night You showed me love When love ran astray Reassuring me That I could be loved anyway When I gave up You didn’t give in And when I gave in You didn’t give up You prayed for me Whenever I lost hope You’d hold my hand and say “The Lord will make away” Without out you and your love Where would I be? Because before you showed me love I could not see My thanks and love for you Goes way beyond expression And I thank God above Cause’s you’re one of his perfections
