Hannah Rosenthal Poem
Thoughts pour out of my eyes
Notions that journey far beyond these plaster walls
Ideas that dance into a dream
Memory that falters is the cause of my downfalls
Life itself pays a visit to my mind
Death stops by and knocks down the front door
Luck tiptoes quietly by
Annoyance reappears for an encore
Passion cries out to the wind
Lust trips blindly over the rocky pathway
Love teases, always just out of my reach
Devotion is mindlessly tearing away
So maybe my mind wanders a tad too much
Visting old friends and making new ones
But its always to the future my mind will clutch...
...Always look to the future before the past awakens

Hannah Rosenthal Poem
When we were little
The trampoline would be
Pregnant with a jumble of our arms and legs
When we ruled the school way back
In Elementry School we would
Poke fun at the little fourth graders
When we entered Middle School
We did it together
Holding Hands, our hearts beating wildly
Years went by
We got older
But still, we enter everything together
Holding hands
Our hearts beating wildly
Sisters by soul
but
Friends Forever
-dedicated to Stephanie L. Sabath

Hannah Rosenthal Poem
They say there's only one way out of this world,
death.
But that's not so true...
For I have journeyed far beyond
the limits and boundaries of philosophy,
out yonder in a place no one believes in these days.
I found a path through dreams
and beauty
passion, lust, and of course
tears.
What may seem to you like
glazed over eyes:
Well, what goes on behind them
may come as a surprise
The Mind's Eye sees beyond the grave
And that's all i need to know
Some may need numbers and products
to show that they can do something;
I don't need to prove myself
I found a path through dreams
and beauty
passion, lust, and of course
tears.
There's no such thing as a bad person
Just someone who makes mistakes
Anyone who gets up has once fallen
Anyone who has slept once awakes
It's like the point of no return
Aching for your turn
Open your Mind's Eye
And only then, will you begin to really learn...

Hannah Rosenthal Poem
Fire is the murderer of humanity
Or is it not the passion that burns within us?
Water is the asphyxiation to a passion unknown
But is it not also a part of our entire body, that keeps us in health?
Earth is the place where dead rest, unrightfully underfoot
Or is it not the being that we rely on for just being there?
Air is the sin that carries pollution to our lungs
But is it not also a relief that brings composure to this life?
Spirit is the form that can make or break you
And yet it is the one that looks after us all
that provides us with passion
that keeps us in health
that we can rely on
that brings us composure
It is the teacher, and its showing us how to feel
It is the student, and we're showing it how to cheat
It is a parent, and it teaches us how to share
It is a child, and we are teaching it how to avoid
Are we committing acts of kindness?
Are these sins the strong ropes that bind us?
just ask your self
