Look To the Future

Thoughts pour out of my eyes Notions that journey far beyond these plaster walls Ideas that dance into a dream Memory that falters is the cause of my downfalls Life itself pays a visit to my mind Death stops by and knocks down the front door Luck tiptoes quietly by Annoyance reappears for an encore Passion cries out to the wind Lust trips blindly over the rocky pathway Love teases, always just out of my reach Devotion is mindlessly tearing away So maybe my mind wanders a tad too much Visting old friends and making new ones But its always to the future my mind will clutch... ...Always look to the future before the past awakens
