Tillieann Mchone Poem
I've known you most of my life.
I was a shy, nieve girl who believed in you, at first . . .
I thought we could never have a problem that I couldn't fix.
If I'd just show you enough love,
you would appreciate life and all it had to give us.
I gave you my body, my soul, my love and my life .
You took it all greedily,
and then asked for more.
So I gave you my dignity, my respect, and my self-esteem.
You accepted it all and asked for more.
So I then handed you my self worth.
When you saw that I had nothing more to give,
you then hit me, bit me, pushed me, strangled me,
you tried to kill me.
I didn't realize that I was already dead inside,
you were just taking care of the rest.
I guess I can say I've known you for most of my death,
and I have to let you go now
because I choose to live.

Tillieann Mchone Poem
If someone says bad things about you and you believe them, they are right.
But if you instead fight for what deep inside you know is true, then the whole
world opens up tp you. What you know beats out what they said , all because you
stayed true to what was in your head.

Tillieann Mchone Poem
Whenever I think of you,
a smile forms on my face
I feel pleasure pulse from that smile
to the tips of my fingers and toes.
I have the urge to run, jump, dance, laugh .....
to close my eyes and just revel
in the ecstasy you bring me.
To stay in your presence growing and
creating wondrous things all inspired
by the beauty of you.
I feel like every part of you
connects to every part of me,
as if your words form somewhere
deep within your soul,
just so they can travel out your mouth
to pierce my heart.
I think I was made to love you.
Created to think of ways to make you smile.
To be me when me is exactly what you need.
Almost as if we were destined to love each other.
To share our tears and face all our fears together.
So we can experience a joy that runs so deep it's scary.
If I am right, and this love is pure,
I'd give anything, risk anything, and travel
anywhere to support it.
If you are 'the one' and I have finally found you,
I promise, I will never let you fall
and I will wait for you forever.

Tillieann Mchone Poem
[Delete] [Edit] He was......
faith put in the wrong place.
Love intensified that braught disgrace.
A chemical fix for an numb space in the mind.
Pride drowned in deceitful rhymes.
a white veil that unearths darkness.
an awakening from sensual slumber,
to realities harsh mess.
Was taken from a gigantic high
in the name of togetherness.
first called ms.stress.
walking away wrapped in duress.
A heart sold for bogus payments
now ordered to reposess.
rescued from waves of deception
a soul in need a major intervention
crashing strung out
willing to accept illusionary tactics,
to save me from beyond anticlimatic lows.
as tons of blows to my pride continue to coincide
misguided signs pointed me in the direction of mr. hide,
who lied and made me think he was only jekyll
now love is scarce
not even a frekle remains.........
and my heart is bound in chains
unable to escape these subsequent pains

Tillieann Mchone Poem
He tried to control me
but my soul needed to be free
He tried to make me need him
but my trust can only be given by me.

Tillieann Mchone Poem
I don't want to inconvenience you
I don't want you to even see me here
I would prefer you walked right past me
My wish is to disappear
I don't want you to see my faults
I don't want to face my fears
I don't want to confront my problems
It's too hard
I'd just rather not be here.

Tillieann Mchone Poem
I want to haunt your thoughts.
I want to invade your dreams.
I want my taste on your lips.
And when you hear my name I want
your eyes to have that gleam.
I want you to hear my voice in your heart
and trace my face in your sleep.
I want you to feel my smile when your happy
and taste my tears when your in pain.
You'd need to know that your in my heart
and think of me when it rains.
I want to kmow that when we part
I can still visit you in thoughts and dreams.

Tillieann Mchone Poem
If I trust you enough to tell you my dreams,
would you love me for it?
Would you even care?
Would you give me a hug
and tell me you'd be there?
Could you reject a girl who let down
her walls for you?
Or are you 'the one' to accept my shy,
sensative soul to be true?
If I sat down one day and told you the facts of my life,
would you be happy for my accomplishments,
and sad for my strife?
Or would you turn to me and tell me that
you need space,
trying to look serious with laughter written on your face?
After trusting you with my secrets, will
I feel safe and loved down to my core?
Or would you be another thing helping the
world brake my hear a little more?
