In a Second

In A Second, it could start.

The moment lightening shocks your heart.

It leaves you in disbelief.

Leaves you burned with love, a smile that lasts a week.

A Second Thought

You buy her a rose.
Make your way downtown only to find out through a text she wants to see other people.
You go to throw away your rose......but before you do, it hits you.
The flower is no less beautiful.
It smells just as heavenly.
The world still turns and you notice all the eyes on you and your beautiful flower....
What a lucky girl she must be they think.
What a lucky guy I am I think.
To hold such a elegant flower.
He leaves it on the train seat and leaves.

The Power Within

There is Power in the pen.
There is Power in the voice.
There is Power within the people,
and with responsibility comes choice.

There is power in our cars,
and Power in our homes.
But at times we feel powerless,
at times we feel alone.

When times get tough
and you do not have the Power,
look within yourself,
it will be a Powerful hour.

There is Power in the pen.
There is Power in the voice.
There is Power within the people,
and with responsibility comes choice.

A Gentle Touch

Something Sweet,
A gentle touch.
A faraway dream,
here I am stuck.

Something sour,
a slight change in mood.
A regrettable decision,
to find the truth.

A little thought.
A mile away.
A gentle touch,
be brave today.

I learned a lesson;
To love and let go.
To never forget...
The highs or the lows.

Fate and Soulmates

Our Love is Fate, like Rain and Rain Forest.

We have met before, yet not in this Life.

Not yet my Dear, but will be my Dearest.

I will hold you in warmth and shed you Light.

You Blessed my Heart with your Beautiful Eyes,

It locked me in the most Beautiful Dream.

My Love for you will never cease to rise,

For Love is a Treasure, for Two Human-Beings.

Now a week long, my Love will depart,

But there is no moment we feel, alone.

For Time, Space, and Fate, Can't hold us apart,

Cause Soulmates are real, I have found my own.

We have Time to see what Time will bring,

In Hopes, You My Queen and I Your True King.

...Dedicated to my Love, 02/14/15...

Waking Up

I remember thinking to myself, you can get a good night's sleep even after a bad day.

It was 3 years ago today when I woke up, packed my belongings and left for good.
You were standing there at the bus stop and asked me how my day was.
I wasn't sure if I could respond....But I knew I should.
Reply to Her that is.... Not many people ever care, but she does I thought.
I knew where I was standing but deep down I felt lost.
You stood there and I felt a little less lost.
A block away from my home....from my old home, I realized.
I felt found standing next to you.
I replied. "Couldn't be better"
But I was never good at lying.
And you were good at poker.
My bluff was called.

I wake up every now and then and think of the moment you lifted me.
With your words.
You didn't even know my name. You didn't even know what you were doing.
You did it.

Now 4 years later happily married, I still wake up in the middle of the night.
I visualize the shoe's I was wearing, the dirty white laces that seemed to me not to be tied. Like a loose stage of my life.
But you tied them. I was the left lace, you the right.
And every now and then when I look up in this dream I see my wife's beautiful eyes standing next to me, other time's its an angel. One and the same they are.

My bluff was called.
She said "You have the same look I had not but a few weeks ago. But your tone of voice is a lot more obvious."
"Were still out there" She says and looks up at the clouds.
She meant women you can love. I knew what she meant.
"Are you out there?" I replied.
"No." She says.
"I'm right here".

Amazon Princess

A Prince once met a princess, this was what he thought...

She's not used to someone this young

But at Parlour something Beautiful Sprung

Fate at it's finest.

First person I laid my eyes upon,

turned out to by my highness.

She was lovely down to earth, not to mention the spirit.

I hoped we both could feel it.

So we sat and had a drink.

Hours passed by in minutes, and I just had to think.

She had me at Toika lounge feeling like the luckiest fellow.

If she preferred an orchestra, I'd be her main cello.

Little did she know, this Princess was in the company of a Prince.

Amazonian Tiger scratched me with her caramel prints.

And he was going to show her his all.

Make her truly feel like the angel, wingless born, bet she crawled.

Wish to Be her knight in shining armor and all.

She would have all her angled covers, the second she called.

Never too soon and definitely never too late.

For a princess and prince, to come to terms with their fate.

And in fact, Alana, you bring out my best manners.

And it matters to me.

Cause in your presence I wanna be the best I can be.

Because I know that's what you deserve.

Breathtaking personality, in reality, blessed with dangerous curves.

Always had me listening, as if she had super powers.

If she was a line-up I'd wait for days and hours.

Standing there, dressed up with a smile, holding her favorite flowers.

So don't mind little old me.

Standing her with a lily.

Hope you find it cute, cause sharing this it made me laugh and I felt a bit silly.

Your Prince, Hani G.G.

Broken

Are matches useless once they are used

Can love be love if someone's heart is abused

Can you love someone else, if your heart is still bruised...

We are hurt, yes, but not broken...

I wanted to leave her but before i could say it, I would start choking

I'm usually a joker but this time I wasn't joking.

She was once my queen, but I am no more her King.

Empty promises and broken dreams.

I learned a Promise Ring can turn into just a ring.

So a broken song I now sing.

We are hurt, yes, but not broken.

So I keep my chin up and keep hoping.

To meet the one I deserve.

Give her all my heart, even though it's missing a third.

Who Is My Savior

The wind blows from the East towards the West.
Like a migrating bird, I have finally left my nest.
The Sun rises in the West and Sets in the East.
I am hungry, but it is on Life that I feast.

I have been stressing. I been stressing for a while.
This the type of habitual stress that weighs your heart down much like anchor weighs down a ship.
But this feeling, this feeling explodes and intensifies the speed of the fall.
So when it ends you don't land, you shatter.
Unlike Humpty I do put myself together.
Although I do lose some parts of myself to this whole.

I embark on the climb to fall again.
Something like Sisyphus I've been dammed
but I still don't understand why I'm willing.
Why this heart stays whole above all after all its endured.
Even the beat to which my heart skips deceives me.
I swear its the fall that makes it beat new peaks.
Is it so that I shatter to save my soul.
That if I were to keep whole on impact I would Penetrate Earths crust itself and find myself residing in Hell's hole.

Is Lucifer my Savior? Is He not Gods Dammed Angel like I am a Damned Son.
Should I let my heart fall into depths of darkness and the touch
the Oh So Cold Touch which has my hair erect with its Chilling Embrace.
This matter has me as indecisive as a child in a candy store.
I am not half as innocent but still I wish it was half as sweet.
I wish the World to be as sweet as honey and not make me have to choose.
Oh how sweet that would be.

Could not everything meet me half way?
If not whole.
Once more it is time for the fall.
Is this God's or Lucifer's call...

I close my eyes. Turn around.
And face the West.
For I am tired of watching the Sun set.
I am tired of endings.
I face the West and count my blessings.
I count many things.
The Sun Rises.
It was one Hell of a fall.
But in this moment in time I understand yes it was in fact,

God's Call.

Time

Now I may be out of watches, and I may be out of clock's.

But if you ask me how to find the Wolf of Wall Street

Ill say "it's Impossible, He never stops."

Now you may just want to change, the timing of lady luck.

You'll receive your duties owed, just when you think your stuck.

Now I don't mean sit around and wait.

For Time will never listen.

For you owe yourself a wondrous Life, just imagine what your missing.

Imagine your dreams, are all within reach.

For they are my friend, and I don't mean to preach.

Nor do I instruct, as if I were a teacher.

I just want the World to understand,

We are all beautiful, timeless creatures.
