Why Shall I Let the Ego...

Why shall I let the ego to question my wisdom?
When the ego is no more than a sad fabrication,
imposed on every man to blindfold the freedom
of wonderful mind shackled to perception?

Try to kill the ego and there is nothing to bereave.
'Cause the ego is a primitive way of thinking,
made up of ideas we've been pushed to believe
preset by the agonizing fear of existing.

Within the ego we plant our limitations.
And continue to believe that we've been uncompleted.
I would gladly suggest to reverse the perception
of a delusional world where reality's been defeated.

-There is a lot of universe outside this delusion!
And the eternal flux of wandering wonders,
while waiting for us, disregards the blunders
of a wonderful mind's innocent confusion.

Sonnet

I believe in the idea of which I'm a part:
A sacrosanct speck in a magnificent Whole!
Not a despicable fiend, a spendable soul,
dumped into this world without a guiding chart.

Because, without me there would be no mind !
No thinking matter capable of my feat !
It will be a world of wood and instinctual meat,
a wretched old planet, mute and blind.

So, go ahead my friend and look for the seat
of the dark prince who ruled the past ;
you'll find the place empty: the man just quit !

Can't you sense in you your highest kind ?
The peak where all mountain came to a blast
that gave birth to a miracle: the human mind !

Fears

Within this sad planetary condemnation,
craftily engineered to compulsively survive,
the life of the flesh will certainly die
deprived of a divinely mandated resurrection.

The Day I die my death will die; die and efface!
Then, the agonizing fear of my demise
will join-to my bemused surprise!-
the colossal memory of the race.

-Will my atoms fuse back to the atomic nest?
-Will these tiny particles of what was my body beat within something else?
-Will my thought, still reeking of existence, have need of a face?

-Will I-at last-be freed of my internal hells?
-Will God-at last-become more than a name,
the vilified semantic of an old age spell?

These doubts which I conspicuously question
by intellectual rapture and skewing the aberration,
by entertaining the mind...the fears quell.

God

God

God is a metaphor for many an unconscious mind
-a metaphor of the highest ideal we know?
Sadly not. But yes a confusing delusion of the worst kind
where man and beast suffuse in an entangling glow.

God is a frame without a picture in an infinite wall;
You can call it that way and without fear of retribution,
‘cause we invented fear and punishment and the fall
from grace, as main participants of our constitution.

God was for some; a man walking in the sky,
for others; some kind of a belligerent entity,
And for many others; the beautiful sigh
of a soul in search of its own eternity.

God can have many meanings and reasons
depending on the party ruling at the time.
You can, then, follow the flow of generational seasons
and use the metaphor most pleasing to your mind.

God, to me, is none of those things clustered above.
I don’t even call him god, a name so pagan and wild.
God is the wonderful source of universal love
that can always be perceived in the eyes of a child…

Eden

Eden is a reachable state of the mind,
not a territory where you want to relocate
once the energetic depletion of your time
bring to an end your physical state.

Eden is not the longing of a desert dweller
for a land filled with honey, milk and fruit.
The poor wretched didn't know any better
because the primitive mind was also mute.

Eden is the original you, the perfect core,
an amazingly atom less extension
of the universal consciousness; the store
of the unfathomable science of creation.

Released

Released

All healing is release from the past,
The past was a dream badly dreamed,
Struggled under a sky heavily overcast
Where sadness and loneliness loudly screamed.

Then, what showed first as a flickering light
Started to increase its fearless intensity,
Dissipating the clouds bewildering rite
And showing to the heart its hidden inmensity.

The force of love’s incandescent might
Bathed the road so far so hidden,
But, while walking straight, blinded by the light,
‘Saw my past disappear at the gates of Eden.
