Pastel Ravens (Ghazal)
by Sunny
Crystal rivers raging storm, whisper pastel ravens
Sing unto hearts of highlights form, pastel ravens
Shadow light spirits floating on high.
Simple elegant passion, precious norm, pastel ravens
Calling lost lovers, echos of distant thunder.
Desired lonesome sounds, precious born, pastel ravens.
Bestow thine precious gift, earthy pearl divine.
Granted love, sounds, precious forlorn, pastel ravens.
Melody sonnets cast across the sky of rain.
Peaceful birds, raise high, precious horns, pastel ravens.

Andrea Pickering Poem
Eyes Never Sleep
By Sunny
soft darkness serenades my skin
dancing petals of dying roses
anoint this broken winged bird
whirlwind of endless memories
nightmares tiptoe upon walls
reminding me once again
loneliness has never been kind
to a heart who sings shattered verse
yet here I sit, basking to classical blues
deep voices strumming guitars
while fire from lit candles dance softly to the beat
shadow dancers become companions
Inviting sleep to comfort me
yet tattered eyes scream silently
frightening the sandman away
leaving his pebbled heart behind

Andrea Pickering Poem
Garden of Strength
By Sunny
Peaceful flower
accepts the soil
planting her seeds
of love within
realizing thorns
adorn the vines
that cover, protect
from raging sin
flowers shall grow
as time moves on
vines with shadows
shall carry this song
roots combined
intertwine as one
flourishing garden
within peaceful sun
chaotic storms
shall bite the leaves
costing pain from
natures thieves
limb by limb
they sway with time
pure strong souls
continue to climb

Andrea Pickering Poem
Tree Seduction
by Sunny
Soft quiet breeze
flows through out
hair tickles my back
awakening my skin
Closing my eyes
your branches
surround me
not knowing
what enhancing
delights are about
to engulf my soul
Your leaves slide
slowly down my skin
sending shivers
of pure delight
Sweet essence
of your sap
drip ever slowly
upon my lips
devouring my
dance of
naked explosion
Your strong trunk
supports my
aching body
as your timber
swallows me
in one complete
gust of wind
Swaying along
breeze as one
my Oak of seduction
you tousle me
complete sensual
ecstasy......

Andrea Pickering Poem
Ice Water Inspiration
By Sunny
Deep turquoise circles
Invade my inner lids
enticing such a tearful soul
for taste of soft summer rain
quenching crisp freshness
upon dry impatient lips
teasing a dancing tongue
causing taste buds to tango
reaching towards bottomless pits
of hallowed plastic ecstasy
lungs blare compassionate song
Igniting proper applause
refreshing a once pale face
replacing colorful shades of rose
puffy cheeks smile “thank you”
empty cup shouts “you’re welcome”
