Epitaph

Remember me
The light that stalked the shadows
Remember me
A moonbeam to soften the night
Remember me
When the gates finally lock
Remember me
After the flowers wilt and fall

A Boy In the Rain

A crying child stands
Alone
Wet eyes and trembling hands
Quietly turn to stone

What is the cause?
Who can be blamed?
Time doesn't pause
For a boy in the rain

Counting Rings

Time has swept her ageless hand
Over the drudgery of life
Dawns have risen and suns have set
The hourglass is still losing sand
Draining, waning the hours
Another second has just slipped by
What makes this game grand
Destiny a fickle thing
Tripping toes and trembling hearts
I will not believe it's not planned

Fall

The golden season
of falling leaves I love
for it makes me glad

A Two-Fold Epic

I'll never look back
I don't want to see
You're still waiting for me
Secrets
Meant to be Kept
Never will be
From prying eyes
I'll go alone
To escape being told
It was a mistake

No aesthetic expression for selfishness

D.L.D.S.

Harbor my blood beneath
Trembling core to stretch my face
You fell away from me
My imperfect love now seems a waste

Where the Devil Hit the Ground

There's a place somewhere
East Jesus to be exact
Did you ever wonder why
They call it that?

It's a fruitless waste
Where trees spontaneously combust
There's a mark on the ground
Where the Devil bit the dust

He left a charcoal scythe
As he skidded along
Crying to the heavens
That he'd done no wrong

After years of tears and moans
He grew angry and bitter
"Injustice" he cried
"We'll see who's the quitter"

So here we are now
Ten millenia later
Heeding the spot
That spawned emos, men, and haters

Pathetic's Demographic

Endless hours stretch ahead
As I wait for a lost lover to appear
Out of the shadows, his footsteps
Remind me of how my heart bled
Stolen moments under secret boughs
Speechless in dire caress
Foolish hands in sinful trite
Useless love unmeaningly vowed
The thump of a hoofbeat
Mimics my heart
As my antagonist rides on past
At last I concess defeat

Consequence

Shadows shift to accomodate
Fire burning in my eyes
Fallen angels anoint my feet
As I cross the gates of Dante's Dream

The holocaust licks my body
Crimson tears bead down my neck
Swollen lips part to sing
The accompanyment to misery

An upturned snear at the scorching heavens
Savage Power stretch my veins
Side by side, my familiar Sin
The world is ripe to be ravaged

Only An Inkling

Glistening stars
Why do you hide your faces
Radiance unavenged in cloud
