A Book...

A book...
A book can make you believe things that aren't really real
A book can control the feelings that you feel
A book can make you see things that aren't even there
A book can paint a picture and make you feel like it cares
but it can erase that picture. Paint a new one, and make you feel scared
A book can make you believe in love,
or it can break your heart.
It can make you feel smart,
or make your world fall apart
A book can make you dream,
and a book can make you scream.
A book can make the world serene,
or make the world seem mean
It can make you a fiend,
a fiend to read on to the next page,
but the next page is blank.
Blank because she...
because she is no longer real.
Blank because she no longer feels
Blank because she is no longer there
Blank because she no longer cares
Now the book is blank, and I the reader, am left alone and scared
A book can make you believe in love,
or it can break you'r heart.
She is the book,
and now my worlds fallen apart.

Pain Is Love

The pain of constant rain can drive a man insane
but pain caused by a woman,
is like a poison in his veins.
Will things be the same,
or will they go down the drain?
will the love remain,
or will the pain regain?
Regain the aching heart
The aching heart that seems destined to fall apart,
fall apart into a million pieces
all while he looks for a reason,
a reason for being, and a reason for believing
Believing love?
But what has love done for him?,
but bring him to heaven and back to hell again.
He wonders if love is a curse,
a curse carried on through weakness
He wonders why anyone on earth would believe this,
believe this thing called love
A feeling filled with pain but yet still spoken so fond of.
Love causes heartache, love causes tears
Love causes happiness, love cures fears
Love is the reason for hate
Love is because of fate,
a fate that can end happily, or a fate that can end sadly
So why is it that he wants love so badly?
Is love so powerful that it can make a man go against everything he knows?
Love is like a journey with no directions, but yet still he goes.
They say it's better to love and lose than to never love at all
So is it worth the risk to in the end stand tall?
Stand tall and conquer the constant rain,
because pain is love and love is pain,
or are they both the same?
I guess for now he waits in vain.

I Wish It Would Rain

I wish it would rain on me,
that way I could hide all of the tears rolling down my cheek
I hate that I am forced to cry,
but I cant help but let my eyes leak
Happiness is all that I seek,
so I force my self to wipe these tears away
and hope for now,
that my eyes will stay that way
but that will only happen when I dream of better days

Now here comes the clouds,
and drop after drop it drops down on me
here comes the storm,
and it's only tears I see
I'm trying my hardest to fight it,
but this is the way it was destined to be
so as long as there's struggles,
I'll be on my knees...
praying to the lord,
because it is he who I believe
but for now I ask for him to let it rain on me
to hide my tears, it's a storm I need...

Truth Forbidden.

Love is a Liar
   masked and disguised
  It makes you feel good
but then it tears your eyes
  Nothing but cold weather,
   and cloudy skies
  It's got 2 faces
   and it's got 2 sides
Love is a Liar
   the liar of all lies
The power of Hate overpowers Love
   because Hate is truth
   like truths in confession booths
  Hate hides nothing
   and Love is fake
  Love can build
   and love can break
  Love can stand
   but love can shake
  So what is Love
   if it isn't Hate?
Love is a Liar
   camoflouged and hidden
  It told you it cared
   but it really didn't
So love is like a dream
Truth Forbidden.

Color Blind

A couple brought together,
made to be lovers
Often wondering about the stares
from so many others
Though their love stayed strong,
they wondered why those others
thought it was so wrong
Blind to the ignorance
of those other people,
They kept moving,
knowing their love was much deeper.
It was a love
that was obvious in their faces,
and a love
that would last forever in time.
Not knowing that they were different races
Not knowing,
that they were color blind.
