A book... A book can make you believe things that aren't really real A book can control the feelings that you feel A book can make you see things that aren't even there A book can paint a picture and make you feel like it cares but it can erase that picture. Paint a new one, and make you feel scared A book can make you believe in love, or it can break your heart. It can make you feel smart, or make your world fall apart A book can make you dream, and a book can make you scream. A book can make the world serene, or make the world seem mean It can make you a fiend, a fiend to read on to the next page, but the next page is blank. Blank because she... because she is no longer real. Blank because she no longer feels Blank because she is no longer there Blank because she no longer cares Now the book is blank, and I the reader, am left alone and scared A book can make you believe in love, or it can break you'r heart. She is the book, and now my worlds fallen apart.
