Mother

The sun was out
And I was gone
The clouds rolled over a million times
The grass swayed
Intense
As if it could fly
I was still
Rigid where I stood
Afraid
Scared of change
Of the uncertainty of decision
What does it mean to live for another?
To make decisions that effect not only my self?
I've been thinking
Now a house of one will become a house of two

Origin

I am from flowing waters
From the peaceful gleam of the setting sun
I am from the blazing skies humble and profound
From the rough baby pebbles on the perfect shore
As the final burst of warm water smoothes my rough edges
I am from black night skies
Captivated by the elation that surrounds me
By the soulful twinkle of countless lonely stars
I am the fiery emotions guiding a shooting star
Landing some where new restarting from the end
I am from life
Bundled in happy tears
Carried from sweet rose to warm daisy
I am from the power that erupts when families fall
Always destine to reunite deeper then ever
I am complex and incomplete
Just like my origin

Youthful Loss

Forever I long to see your face
Full in it's youthful loss
The good, the bad, the right, the wrong
The rawness of your fragile soul
As a little child I saw those innocent eyes
Just like clouds releasing anxiety in cool
rain nurturing the earth
The soulful bliss encompassed in your smile
nursing me in my down days
destroying the shades of grays
Across the field the shadows fell and all
alone I screamed and yelled
For what was just and what was right eluded
us this faithful night
Against the evils that vials our eyes
We fought to keep ourselves alive
Till one day we lost sight of us
And couldn't sustain our painful lust
the lost of you the lost of me
It's all the same, Don't you see
