Youthful Loss

Forever I long to see your face Full in it's youthful loss The good, the bad, the right, the wrong The rawness of your fragile soul As a little child I saw those innocent eyes Just like clouds releasing anxiety in cool rain nurturing the earth The soulful bliss encompassed in your smile nursing me in my down days destroying the shades of grays Across the field the shadows fell and all alone I screamed and yelled For what was just and what was right eluded us this faithful night Against the evils that vials our eyes We fought to keep ourselves alive Till one day we lost sight of us And couldn't sustain our painful lust the lost of you the lost of me It's all the same, Don't you see
