A Beastly Beauty

Branded the most beautiful
She stands alone, no push or
pull
Sparkling nails and eyes so
blue,
Her head held high as her
dreams come true
Rosy lips and a sculpted nose
Deafened ears that hear no
woes
Shiny frocks and golden locks
She smiles away as money
stocks
Perfection drips, truly a beauty
so rare
But unfortunately she's never
learnt to share
Finally I recover from her
trance
To discover this beauty here's
my only chance

I follow her everywhere
But what I find you wouldn't
want to hear
All the lies swept aside,
This is what alas I find

A cold stare, a cruel face,
A heart that has never known
no faith
Filthy hair and lips that lie
She's never had a reason to cry
Wrinkled hands that never
learnt to give
She forgot to love, let alone
forgive
Her eyes are just a waste of
blue,
Cause they never see the pain
others go through
A twisted mouth , a crumpled
dress,
she's got the world, but that's
still less
It's all her fault that she's all
alone,
Cause no one likes a heart
made of stone
She's an ugly beast behind a
beautiful mask,
Is she beautiful is no question
to ask.

Misfit

A life without a meaning is like
a woman without child,
forced to put on this tough
facade but your heart is mild.

Everyday you wake up unaware
of your next move,
waiting for life to take you
along its groove.

What is love ? it has no
meaning for you,
cause all your life you've been
searching for it.
You want a beginning that is
bright and new,
Cause in this world all you are
is a misfit.

The Truth

Everything in this world has to fade
Except the one by whom we were all made
One day we'll all have to face,
The Lord & God of all race,
So earn rewards and keep up your pace
So in front of God you keep you grace.

If you're strong enough and think that you're brave,
Then anytime be ready to face the grave
Hold on to your beliefs really tight
For only God has got the might
To tell us what is wrong and what is right
Do as he says and your future will be bright.

If in the right you believe,
Then you'll surely find relief
Forget be kind and Forgive each
Then see how the kindness of God to you'll reach,
And every time you want to preach,
Make sure you follow what you teach.

**I had to post again..Ugh....I don't know how the previous one got deleted. This was the first poem I was finally happy with at how well it was doing ..you know based on views and comments and the fact that it was featured.
Thanks to everyone who made that possible ! Appreciation is the memory of the heart :D
