Distant Reminder

An anxious feather,
began to hover,
over a frozen lake of glass.
Flying through fire,
ever so higher.
Into the memories of the long
forgotten past.
Soaring above the mountain
tops
while slowly increasing speed.
The feather flew higher,
with a distant reminder.
Just how much a feather can
see.
A gust of wind will take you
anywhere.
If only the feather could
receive.
A dash of hope,
a touch of atmosphere.
Some wind and the will to go
where ever you please.

Shit Life

A life that holds no significance.
That's a life worth taking.
My life has become so
meaningless.
With these mistakes I've been
making.

A family, A life, A future.
My, how insignificant.
My time, My effort, My joy.
What can be better?
Reality, pain and some
pleasure.
Where is my gift?
How can I possibly measure?
My life isn't shit.

Because I don't idolize my
imagination.
Therefore, I must be lesser.
What makes your life worth
living?
What makes you so much
better?

I don't want to hear it.
This shit life I lead.
My life isn't perfect.
I am by no means.
You see, I'm only human.
And that makes me great.
But don't get it twisted.
My life isn't fake.
You say time is coming.
So I'll sit here and wait.
My life has no meaning.
So bring on the fate.
I'm waiting and waiting.
Waiting to see.
I can't wait much longer.
Savior, come take me.

Seahorse

Like a father
I am security
I don't bother
I just survive
I must suffer
For this world
I must carry on
For my girl
To survive...

I take the blows
Life won't give in
Why should I?
Will I ever win?
Who the hell knows?
I won't give up
Just one more blow
That's the stuff

All the struggles
All the hate
It's a lifetime
It was fate
It is sacred
It is scary
I must make it
I must carry

God Digested

It takes man to create god.
It takes people to consume a
thought.
With the world and all it's
delusions,
Promises made,
Lives destroyed with
superstitions.
Death, destruction.
The corruption of mankind.
Arrogance and ignorance run
the population.

When will god go down?
Down the depths of the
digestive system.
What makes the thought so
reasonable?
Do you swallow the preachers
words?
Without question, be
considerate.
A little criticism is what your
god deserves.

A god like yours is neither here
nor there.
From the depths of the ocean
to the tallest mountains.
There's no god around who
cares.
What makes it so real for a
maniacal man to find answers
in something so false?
Why is your faith worth more
than the life of someone who
dares question your claims?

The god that you worship is
stuck in the throat.
Waiting to enter the stomach
and bowels.
Allow him to exit the asshole of
society and go down the drain
with the rest of the fouls.

Tasting Petals

I'm tasting the petals and hymn.
It's hard to know where to begin.
Except when my brain falls out and my hate comes in.
I'm tasting the petals and hymn.

I'm tasting the petals and hymn.
I just don't know where to begin.
This time it's my hate that's out and my brain that's in.
I'm tasting the petals and hymn.

I'm tasting the petals and hymn.

I'm tasting the petals and hymn.

Imaginary Friend

I can see him clearly in my
head.
He's a fragmented image
against the wall.
Like a fly beneath the swatter.
His voice, I hear, makes my
skin crawl.
Sometimes I wonder why I
even bother.
Sometimes I'd rather not live at
all.

He's a figment brought to you
by delusions.
He's only real to me.
He'll never reveal himself to
you.
His echoes cause contusions.
He only speaks to me.
He'll never talk to you.
His voice brings me
convulsions.
He's a danger to me.
He's a danger to us all.

Get him out of my head.
Help me now.
This very well could be the end.
He wants things to die down
now.
Get him out of my head.
He's my imaginary friend.

Inhale -Fan the Flames-

Keeping my head in the fire.
Plotting my next move.
Temperature gets hotter.
Can't find my groove.

Fan the flames.
Inhale the smoke.
Slowly suffer.
Life's just a joke.
Demons on the rise.
They're in my head.
I can't get them out.
I could be dead.

Why do I live like this?
Pain and suffering as far as the
eyes can see.
When will this end?
When will they leave?

Circular -The Throne Is Vacant-

One savior down.
A king to end all kings.
He's a healer but he can't fix us all.
So invent a disease.
This king brought to his knees.
He's our savior but he can't save us all.

We're all inherently sick.
We're made to feel worthless.
There's only one neat little trick.
We must open wide and worship.

I won't go down that road.
We're all superior.
Sometimes we get complacent.
Sometimes we feel inferior.
The first born king.
His throne is vacant.
The bells all ring.
We're not going to take it.

He'll step down and come back three days later.
That's what we call a miracle.
It's too bad none of it really happened.
You bet we can make it spherical.
It's true because our book says it's true. It's true because our book says it's true.
It's true because our book says it's true....

Raise the Dead

The dead are walking.
Thirsty for some human flesh.
They'll find you someday.

Quietly creep forward.
Sudden death on your trail.
Fighting won't save you.
A body so frail.
There's nothing you can do.
A dead man mocking.
Raising the dead.
The dead are walking.

A sudden outbreak.
A virus so quick to kill.
A tragedy ends.

Spreading so slightly.
Hungry for blood.
Cornered so tightly.
Sinking in mud.
A whisper inviting.
Gasp your last breath.
A shotgun exciting.
Beat me to death.

The Wandering Man

Pretend I am your savior.
Pretend I am your whore.
Pretend I have a waiver.
Pretend to be ignored.
Pretend I am not here.
Pretend to be annoyed.
Pretend to scream in fear.

Why am I so annoyed?
What did I do wrong?
Why am I so annoyed?
Let's pretend we are strong.

Invite me into your home.
Invite me into your soul.
Invite me and let me roam.
Invite the lives you stole.
Invite me to do all I can.
Invite a man to take my role.
Invite me, the wandering man.
