Walls Around My Heart

The walls around my heart was built;
Warmly covered with a cosy quilt.
But the bitter cold is seeping through;
Whatever shall I do?
The walls have started to crack;
The bricks are falling down in a pack!
They’re falling, more and more;
This is bad, opened the love store!

I thought my heart was tucked away safe;
But now feelings are washing over it, wave by wave.
I have been hurt before;
Don’t want to be hurt no more!
The sore aching pain;
With nothing to ever gain!
They say that they love you;
And promise that their love was never so true.
But in the bitter end,
Away with you, go, they send!
Leaving you with a heart so broken;
Without a single return token!

That is why my walls were built
I don’t want to feel it, the guilt,
Of someone loving me,
Because all I wanted was to be free!

Until you came along;
Singing your own sad song!
You cracked my walls, broke them down;
And left me without a frown.
All you said was really true,
You asked for no more hurting you.
So we decided to be a friend;
Stay that way until the end.

But now, we’ve both got a loving feeling;
You’ve changed my mind, got it reeling!
I love you!
Honestly I do!

Please just don’t break this heart of mine;
‘Cos that’ll be like a kick to the spine;
A knife in the heart;
Even a poisoned dart!
This is the last chance;
at a little romance.
So please, let your love be true
because I really do love you!
All my walls are down;
let our love now wear the crown!

Child Abuse,

I'm just a child?
My daddy went wild!
I got a smack!
It even went whack!
There goes my tooth!
My life never runs smooth....
Daddy takes his belt
I can't explain how it felt!
His fists are the worst!
My ribs he did burst!
Mommy, don't you care?
Oh no! You want your share?
My small body is so sore
I don't think i can take any more...
Fragile and broken
not a word left to be spoken....

Please stop child abuse!

Family, My Sad Story

I don't know if you can call this a rhyme;
I just don't have the time.
My heart is crying!
Inside.... I'm dying!
I let go of the tear stream;
Out of frustration I give a scream!
These tears I am crying...
Is this the beginning of my dying?
My mind is running far and wide;
Who is gonna swallow this pride?
Family is suppose to give us joy,
They're playing with me, making me a toy!
They forget I have real feelings
I cry real tears, my mind has no ceilings!
How could they?
They're making me their prey!
You're telling me your story;
claiming your own glory.
Everybody's downloading on me?
You're making me cry, can't you see?
Crying, crying it has no end!
Away with you, I want to send!
My heart is in pieces, it's breaking...
a sad story in the making!
A million pieces on the floor,
out they go, out the door!

Death of a She Wolf

Eyes, gleaming bright
in the dark, in the night.
She hears her mate's howl;
even hears the call of a lonely owl.
Fur, beautiful silver shine;
Her features, all female fine.
Her mate is still calling,
the sound on her ears are falling.
She attempts to make her move;
but hears the fall of a horse's hoof
The hunter! He's back!
Wolf furs...... he has a stack!
Her life now is in extreme danger;
no help from the previous ranger!
She's shy and hides away;
Why did this hunter stay?
Her heart thunders in her chest;
She has to be the most clever, the best!
She slips through snow covered brush;
This is a life or death rush!
He sees her run!
Now begins his fun!
He takes aim.... and pulls the trigger;
down falls her beautiful figure!
Red covers the silver fur;
He has shot, killed her!
Far on a distand ledge;
her mate is waiting, standing on edge!
Concentrating, flicking his ears;
but no sound from her he hears!

Love Flu

Every day, I miss you!
Kinda like having the love flu.
Mornings, the people are ok;
Afternoons, stay out of my way!
All day you’re on my mind;
Even my eyes have gone blind.
You’re running through my brain,
I think I’m going insane.
In your eyes I wanna gaze,
To get rid of my brain’s maize!
I wanna hear your voice;
And give you my choice.
I wanna feel your arms around me;
That’s the way it should be!
I wanna feel your lips on mine,
Before we drink of the love wine.
Last but not least,
Before we can start the feast;
I just wanna feel your touch;
Ços I really miss you so much!

The Love Pledge

It is a lovely summer night;
My imagination has taken flight.
Memories of this beautiful day,
in my heart it will always stay!
I love you, no it's more;
this feeling makes my heart sore;
but it's a glorious feeling;
the skins on my eyes are peeling!
I now totally see you as you are
Oh believe me, your type is rare!
What a find!
I truly have been blind!
You are an amazing man;
like a gold find in a pan.
My pot of gold at the end of the rainbow;
All my love on you I pledge to now bestow!

Winter Is Coming

The shadows are becoming longer;
The cold is feeling stronger.
Our beautiful green trees;
have begun to lose their leaves.
Winter is knocking on my door;
It's not summer anymore!
Autumn is truely a frenzy of colours;
The beginning of nature's wonders!
Leaves are turning yellow, orange and red;
We start turning in earlier, going to bed.
A beautiful bright sunny day;
can no longer find it's way.
A chill has started in every wind;
but we won't complain, I don't mind.
Nature is taking her course;
she's bringing in winter with a great big force!
Awesome winter evenings spent indoors;
Relax a little, throw some pillows on the floors.
Stack the logs in the fireplace;
oh move over, I too want a space;
to bask in the glow of fire so warm
we can sit there and talk while outside it storms.

Shattered Dream

An empty screen is like a shattered dream,
Inside my heart I feel the scream!
There is nothing more to say,
Nothing will brighten up this day!

I feel only the emptiness,
I have had it with your aggressiveness!
All your words so dirty, verbal abuse galore;
I just cannot take this anymore!
You think you are so tough?
Well, I have had enough!

I am hurting like never before;
My tears are running, no they pour!
I kept on clinging, hoping things will get better;
But I’m crying, my eyes are just getting wetter!

I have realized that our lives will never be the same;
And all you can do is give me the blame!
You are killing me with words, slowly but surely!
Calling me names, making me feel filthy!

I lived in fear of you, but deep down inside I knew;
That you are a person that tears at other people’s hearts;
Your hate for me must be going off the charts!
Destroy me, is that all you can think about?
You are making it your mission in life, without a doubt!
You make me sick to my stomach, blaming it all on me;
The blame is on the both of us, yes, we!

You will never admit that you are wrong;
No wonder, it’s your drink that makes you strong!
My heart cries out, why must I always be in pain?
Must my life always be the same?

What a shame, a strong man...
but an unwell women you can blame.
I hope you hang your head in shame
Because I am, forever, erasing your name!

Forever Sleep

Darkness enfolds me as I go to sleep,
My escape from the obnoxious you!
As I drift off to sleep forever;
I think of what has been;
What could have been?
Could I have done it any different?
I’ve tried and tried till my heart just died.
It was laid to rest with the rest of my life!
Gone from you, gone out of your life!
There will no tear be shed over the gone me;
I suppose your heart will be filled with glee!
I really truly loved you!
But got nothing in return;
A cold shoulder, a stare and a glare…
You left my soul feeling just bare!
You tore my heart in a million pieces;
Leaving me lonely, desolate and lost!
But me, I am now going to sleep;
I am leaving you behind!
I have found peace in my heart;
Said my goodbyes and I’m drifting off to sleep.
Sleep enfold me, please just set me free

My Best Friend

Big bright eyes,
and puckered ears.
These awesome creatures,
have been around for years.
You are my best friend,
our friendship will never end.
Whenever I may sit and cry
you look at me as if to ask “Why?”
You kiss away the tears with a lick;
this kind of love will forever stick!
I can tell you all my sad,
and you never ever get mad.
My secrets are safe with you;
you are my friend, you are so true!
You’re always there for me;
and always greet me with glee.
You warn me of any danger;
I call you my Wild West Ranger.
No matter what my mood may be,
you just never ever get rude with me.
I always get a wagging tail;
without a miss, without a fail!
You wait at home, I think of you;
you make my days easy, make me get through!
Because I know when I get home;
No matter where I had to roam;
You will be waiting there for me;
And I’ll always be greeted with all your glee!
