A Tribute To My Dog

Where would i be without your need for me?
who would i take it out on?
Who else could i hug with my eyes closed?
You lift me when i'm down, make me smile..
No one is happier to see me than you
You understand more than is expected
You.... JUST KNOW
You make me laugh you stress me out.
I love you not despite anything
Completely unselfish
You always stand by me..
lovingly incapable of judgement
Sweet unknowing innocence of a child
Feircely protective ... of each other
Character that separates you from any other
A part of our family without question
Thank you Vegas...

Free To Love

Why do i love him? He does not love me
Why do i cry? When my tears he wont see
Why when he laughs do i smile at his joy?
Why don't i judge but believe in this boy?
The look of his eyes haunt my mind and my heart
I find myself breathless like i was at the start
But there is no story, is no past
It is not fate, we would not last
Its only an escape, where i can be free
So no one can ever take him from me

Living On the Edge

Never be happy , cause it all will go wrong
As soon as your smiling down comes the bomb
Dont believe in anyone or give them your heart
As soon as you do they will tear it apart
Forgotten how to relax ... or is it forgotten to be me?
Why cant the others stand up and see?
Do you deserve this treatment? you say
Can you believe in a sunnier day?
Why do i let him kill the person i am?
He does it now because he knows he can
My insides in a knot , long to be free
does he even love me for me?
I have no voice have a soundless cry
Sometimes i think my soul will die
Leaving my body walking around
Living and talking, making no real sound
My presence is nothing my essence is gone
And still he pretends he can do no wrong.
