Lie, Cheat, Steal

You tell me not to lie,
Not to cheat or even steal,
But you did it all,
And left me no time to heal.
All that you have said,
Were all pretty lies,
You told me you'd be there,
Did that include the goodbyes?
I never cheated on you,
But you cheated on me,
With all the words shared,
I'm surprised I'm a memory.
Now for the stealing,
You theived away my heart,
Now it's sitting on a shelf,
I hope it becomes art.
When I say I love you,
I hope you give me trust,
Because my broken heart,
Is just collecting dust.
So I'll just keep waiting,
Until I have you back,
Even if it's impossible,
You are what I lack.

Skeleton Bones

Abandon me now,
Don't expect me to ask how,
This is what I vow.

Leave me here alone,
With all these skeleton bones,
All your lies are known.

You will always cheat,
Then you blame it all on me,
Now you'll catch the heat.

Butterfly Sonnet

Spread your wings,
Then fly away,
You're more loved,
Day after day.
You're so beautiful,
But you're also strong,
If you're caught,
It's not for that long.
You're very brave,
Even when you're afraid,
Your passionate soul,
Will never be able to fade.
So go ahead and fly,
Leave without a goodbye.

If I Had a Broken Heart

If broken is the name I take,
All for my shattered heart,
I will tie it up with twine,
Rest it upon stolen bark,
Set it to sail on a river,
And wait for it to get dark.
Losing you ripped at me,
Set fire to my veins,
Now when you come to mind,
Tears emerge and I'm filled with pain,
You were my beautiful wife,
And now I wish death were my gain.
Now I'll follow the shore,
To find my precious shards,
I'd let the wind carry me,
If you had gotten that far,
Just because losing myself,
Wouldn't be extremely hard.
I'll follow the spirits,
Just to say to you my dear,
You're always with me,
Even though I'm full of fear,
You haven't really left me,
I know you're always near.
So if broken is the name I take,
All for my shattered heart,
You can watch me tear up my insides,
Until I'm finally ripped apart,
No matter what happens, though,
I'll always be searching the dark.

No Mommy

Sleep tight,
Without fear,
There are no monsters,
Under here.
No, mommy,
They fill my head,
When darkness comes,
And I'm in my bed.
Oh, child,
How sweet you are, T
hat imagination,
Will take you far.
No, mommy,
My dreams are true, I
f only,
You had a clue.
Darling boy,
I see it all,
Now go to sleep,
I'll be down the hall.
No, mommy,
Why can't you see?
In the end,
You'll kill me.
In a week,
You'll be mad,
And tell me,
That I've been bad.
You'll take a knife,
Slit my throat,
But in my dreams,
I'll escape by boat.
Oh, silly boy,
The things you think,
You can't escape,
That boat will sink.
