Days Gone By

How could this have happened,
I got what I wanted soo long.
Still thinking you'de always be there,
next thing that I knew you were gone.
My love for you ran deep inside,
you held my heart in your hand.
Now that love is slowly fading,
like footprints in the sand.

A Friend

How could this have happened,
I got what I wanted soo long.
Still thinking you'de always be there,
next thing that I knew you were gone.
My love for you ran deep inside,
you held my heart in your hand.
Now that love is slowly fading,
like footprints in the sand.

Remebering

I remember the way you used to smile at me
when I would blush over something you said
how you used to sit and stare in my eyes
trying to read the thoughts in my head.
How you would make me feel inside
with the words in the letters I read.
I remember how happy it made me feel
just knowing that you were around
How excited I was to tell my best friend
about what a wonderful guy I had found
How nervous I got when you came near
my body trembled and my heart would pound
I remember how I would stare at you
admiring you for all that you were
and how everyone would pick and tease
because anything else was just a blur
how special a person you are to me
you probably have no clue
One thing that you will never know
is just how in love I am with you.

It Is Not My Place

One day you are close
the next you are far
it is not my place
to wonder where you are

Your never around to chat
you never call or write
but it is not my place
to hope that your alright

I want to know your feelings
to know if i'm in your heart
but it is not my place
to ask you what they are

It is not my place to hold you
to be with you by your side
but forever in my hopes and dreams
that place will be mine in time

What Is This Feeling

You have been my everything.
My love, my life, and my past.
Nothing seems to be wrong,
yet I feel this won't last.

Are we really in trouble,
or can it just be me.
It worries me so badly,
my mind just needs to be free.

Is what I am feeling true,
can it really be?
After everything we've gone through,
would you really want to leave?

There's no reason to suspect it,
unless it's hidden deep.
This wonderful life I cherish,
is a life I want to keep.

Do you feel love for me?
Is the love still there?
Are you really happy?
Do you really care?

What is this feeling,
tearing me up inside.
Is this the life you wanted
or are we living a lie?

Are we really happy,
or is it all a dream.
What is this feeling,
that's taken over me.

Tell me that I'm wrong,
and that we are meant to be.
Because without you here,
there would never be a me..

Why

It should not make me sad to think of you
but the tears grow bigger with every thought
I should have known there was no chance
I placed myself in this and now i'm caught

Caught up in these feelings I have for you
my mind and heart weak with confusion
Why do I feel so strongly for you
to you im just an intrution

A Childs Love

Each night I kiss you softly
and gently stroke your hair
Knowing that when morning comes
you will still be there

When we wake up and I come in your room
you smile and say "mama" and reach for me
I set you down and you run to the cuboard
pointing at something to eat

After your done you say to me "bankies"
to ask for the blanket you love so much
then you will go and lie down on the floor
and fall asleep untill its time for lunch

Then you wake up and we play all day
these are the best times for me
will you be able to remember these times
I guess we'll have to see.

Forever Will Come To Soon

What happened to our friendship
what happened to those days
we used to be so close
now everythings a maze

In my mind I search for you
to see where we went wrong
I tell myself this is how it should be
but the days still seem so long

Constantly in battle
This is not how it should be
I dream of walking through the door
and your there waiting for me

Everything now is different
than what it used to be
Can we go back to where we were
I guess we'll have to see

If we take the time to work things out
we just might pull through
but if we just ignore all this
forever might come to soon

The Day

How can I begin to describe
the most wonderful day in my life
I had been blessed
with a beautiful baby girl
So many emotions encompassed me
my mind numb to anything but you
I always drempt of this day
and finally the waiting was through
They wrapped you so snug in my arms
all I wanted from then was to keep you
safe and warm
I created something so precious
not even words can explain
as long as I am here by your side
you will never feel pain
Your are growing so quickly
you're so strong and so bright
From this day and forward
Everything will be alright

I Lost You

After all the things I told you
everything that you knew
The fear I had of losing you
suddenly came true
I trusted you with my feelings
only your hands held my heart
It's hard to belive I was getting played
from the very start
As each day passes slowly
my dreams of what could have been fade
I will never foget the person you were
with me, that memory will stay
I tried to win your love and lost
there's nothing I can do
It's time to do the hardest thing
it's time to get over you
