The Peacock's Dance

It’s raining, it’s raining
Come see the peacock dance
How beautiful it looks
With its wings that look like small, feathery fans

When it starts to rain
It’s beautiful to see the peacocks dance
We love to gaze at the beautiful sight
And do not want to miss the chance

It’s such a wonder
To see them dance so gracefully
That we should accept to surrender
Our pride when we see them dance

We should not cut tress
So that we can see them dance in peace

Tom and Jerry

Tom is a cat
And is big enough to hold a bat

Jerry is a mouse
It lives in a hole house

Jerry is so clever
He knows how to use his lever

When Tom sets a trap
He leaves a gap

 When Tom takes a nap
 Jerry sets a trap

Tom falls in it
but I think it is the end of his wit

He always makes up and never shares his cup
The chase begins and both never give up

Tom chases Jerry
Jerry is not very merry

They are just cartoons
And they teach us not to use harpoons

They always give us fun
And show they have energy in ton

My Weird Teacher

We have a weird teacher in our school
everybody knows he is a fool

He doesn't know to teach
neither he knows to preach

His handwriting we can’t follow
But for his beard his face would be hollow

He does everything wrong
and can never sing a song

He loves to eat fish
but never bothers to wash his dish

He rarely takes a bath
and really hates to teach math

Norway and UK are his favourite places
and in school he pulls faces

His car has a bizarre style
It spews smoke and leaks oil

He deserves a scolding from the headmaster
So that he mends his ways and learns faster

I hope he changes someday
I can only predict and not say !

The Memories of War

I knew that the war had come to an end at last
Cheers rise from the army
Oceans of tears come from the past.

It was time to go home
To families and friends
And back to Rome

We celebrated the feast
Until we heard a “PAROSA!”
From underwater came a giant beast

We knew we were in danger
At the mercy of the monster
But suddenly there appeared a mysterious stranger

He was glowing with light
Shinier than silver
And far too bright

We tried to hide
Any place we could
But the light was by our side
A voice said “God will help us win”
You have nothing to fear
Help will come to you from within

The words came true
We were set free
We won and triumphed in the war, you see .

Frogs and Lilly-Pads

Frogs

They sprinkle and splash around

Frogs jumping up and down everywhere

It is the best season of the year

    Lilly- pads

Lilly pads are waiting for someone

To sit on them

Like a king sitting on his throne

Silly Goat

Silly goat
I had a silly goat
Who wrote a note
And left it on the boat

I had a silly goat
Who again wrote a note
And gave it to the court
To send it to Sam who lived in a fort

If it would rain
The silly goat would cry in pain
I would say “ Don’t cry, Don’t cry
It would be soon dry.”

If it would dry it would got out to play
And soon say
“ You were right!”
But would go outside in fright

A New World

I was standing on the shores of the sparkling sea
When I saw a new world that looked beautiful to me
It's a world that lies beyond my eyes
As I gaze at it my imagination flies

It appeared like a story in a magical book
I really wondered what the inside would look
Then I saw flying cars
that were reaching for the stars...

I saw trains floating on water
And the spaceships you could charter
I marvelled at it all and was amazed
with all the technology that left me dazed

The one pill that cured all diseases
So that man’s suffering ceases
Helping generations live in peace
and all worldly worries cease

I wish we can visit the world one day
but to get there we must find a way
I hope there is enough there for us to live on
so that we could thrive even if the world we live in is gone

Rainbows

Display of colour and wonder
 a rainbow looks so awesome
as sunlight dances with the raindrops

Sam the Clever Mouse

There was a mouse
That lived in a big house
His room was a small hole
He lived with his friend Lucy the mole

One day he had a thought
“How do I raid the kitchen without being caught?”
He asked Lucy and she said be smart
And follow your heart

It was a nice thoughtful slogan
But he had to be aware of the shogun
Sam made plans of what to do
He discussed it with Lucy too

He went into the kitchen and stole two piece of cheese
They were Chinese and Japanese
He went the next day to the kitchen
And was fascinated when he saw a pigeon

The pigeon was smart
But could not catch Sam because he was driving a fast kart
He fell down and was in great pain
And never went to the kitchen again
