Torrenting Memories

There I stood. Near the edge of a cliff overlooking a cascading waterfall.
Only it wasn't water flowing over the point of no return.
They were my memories in a simpler form.
So, there I sat.
catching parts of my life.
Memories forgotten, memories cherished, memories locked away.
I laughed at that one time, I blushed at another.
I remember you, and you.
After sometime, something then happened that I didn't expect.
There was no more water, no more memories.
So, there I walked.
Over to the edge.
As I looked over the edge a smile overcame my face.
What did I see you ask.
Well while I was watching my life go over the edge.
I was actually just watching my life fall into place, ever so perfectly.

Reasons To Be

When the flesh wakes the mans loving wife gives the man inside
the power to stand.
When the flesh works the mans children give the man inside
a reason to breath.
In times of fear the man inside hold his minds picture of his family near,
and know without a doubt
in his last moments
know, that's who the man inside was thinking about.
