Desire

He looked at me, with eyes of velvet green
                                                         Watching, sweating, the movement underneath
Desire poured out of those eyes, those eyes of velvet green.

Bleeding Victory

Hope in my heart never fails to cease,
It triumphs over pain,victories these,
The butterflies in my stomach flutter..
Picked one, held her wings and cut her.

You said her name, and then the silence
Pain triumphed over hope and then stopped the violence..
The dark floor glistened with my tears,
The mental pictures of us,cut with shears.

Her thoughts fill your head, you cant help but smile..
But you were my soulmate love, the one to walk me down the aisle!
I've seen her, the beauty soft, timid at its radiant best..
My love for you dies, rots, worms infest!

The shreds of my heart burnt and torn apart..
Well the dartboard feels the pierce of every dart...
Fell to the floor, phone in my hand, line dead...
Weeped and weeped till my eyes were a bloody shade of red.

The Shadow of a Smile

I watched him stand at my front door, and then put his arms around me,
My heart raced to a stop, the singing in my soul got the better of me.
So the strongest boy I knew, struggled not to cry,
Because somebody had stolen his wings and forbidden him to fly.

So he got used to the feeling, the feeling where nothing seems right,
And the tears fell after he lost the endless fight,
As my throat bled while telling him everything is going to be all right,
Darkness and despair loomed over, no happiness in sight.

The clock ticked on, he became more crippled,
As his heart gasped back to life, everything fumbled,
My bubble burst again when I came to know how much he cared,
I thought- "How could she?" I would never break him, I wouldnt dare!

So shocked from the tragedy he had seen, he tried telling himself-
ITS ONLY A DREAM!
But as the scenario changed,
The spotlight spun to him, SHE was deranged!

I laughed after what seemed like years and breathed a sigh of releif,
That he had finally understood and instilled a new sense of beleif.
One day, I hope he'll realize what he means to me,
And I'll watch him stand at my front door, and put his arms around me.
