The Choice of the Day

Another new dawn, another new day
Am I the person who's ready to make
The most out life, the time we have left
Or ready to wake up, thinking of debt

Choosing to moan, or choosing to walk
Another step further on this hard test called earth
Am I the person behind the hard line
Or so far ahead with others behind

Each step I take, I know but I think
What is the secret to getting the link
The link to the answers, a link to the fame
A link to win this very hard game

This secret is this, as I looked around
The beauty around, transforming my frown
The birds and the bee's, the trees and these things
The opportunity and experience it brings

The billions of people, this modern world
The billion opportunities, I choose to build
Poetry ,art, music, colours, lessons
all enough in time, to answer any question

So on this realization I know
That if tomorrow happened to show
I may be happy,I may feel unseen
I may be the boy in the Forbes magazine

Im no Nostradamus, I cannot predict
All that I have is a calculated risk
My choice is this, and its oh so brave
To wake up and say,"Today is my day"

Untitled Descriptions - Day

A woman, who I once thought was great. A flick of the switch, and all the light fades She laughed and she pointed... She made me pay. And for no good reason, one miserable day Yet still here I stand, strong and unscratched Your greatest mistake was teaching me that. To be who I am and to shine how I shine To give the greatest gift, which is mine. And day by day, I know ill be fine. To love and to share and make sure I smile Even though what you did, will linger for a little while. The effect of your words, sticks, stones and lies The truth of my strength behind tear filled eyes At the end of the day, inside is what counts. Happy she was to be such a cow Making everyone believe its the other way round. This anger inside, building myself I must stop myself from trying to help. I take a deep breath every day, and bit by bit you will vanish away. She deserves nothing, the world needs to see but if I did that, how much better would I be? And tonight I say, "oh my, what a day", I'm now allowed to see a more beautiful way.

Pot of Gold

Red, orange Yellow, green I am most beautiful When I'm seen After rain When the sun shines This is when I will arise Blue, indigo And violet A reminder that You shouldn't quite The light shall come, right afterthe storm Natures reminder The purest form Gold at the end adventure to chase The end of the rainbow The heavenly gate These worldy reminders These beautiful things The ripple effect And the colour it brings

No Way

No way forward No way to return All of my luck, It seems to burn Turn into a misery Change into much worse Inflicting itself, Oh how it hurts Words cannot describe to you How feelings feel inside Life cannot surprise me more The opportunities that it hides I break down, crying "Why cant you see The beauty somewhere inside of me I want a better place to go I need a better land to sow" "I need a love I need your light Im asking please, Please shine it bright" And to that A silent reply I dry my tears I wipe my eyes No way forward and no way back sitting here, never more off track I lay down on the grass again I know not where to go I know 7 billion other people Could also feel so alone I close my eyes .......... A tear falls down .......... And again I sleep, with a begging frown

Words of Fruition

Words are desire and the glue of life
The human species, greatest desire
From business, that deal
To love, how you feel.

Its funny how words can create your
whole day
Get another email with one word
that says:
Honey hugs,love, or even kind
regards

Its the way that you communicate
that will really get you far.

So think next time, and visualise too.
Your natural need to communicate.
Its a part of you, and me too.

So remember words can
communicate, that what's in your
head
All you need to do is get across the
same through what you said.

With love and honey hugs and kind
regards too, I hope you see the
literal effect of your thoughts and
words on who:

The world

Empty Hearts

Words cannot explain to you
My empty heart, now cold.
With this feeling locked inside
Stuck there till I'm old.

You cannot see regret in me
Mistakes I thought would set me free

You cannot know of what you have
until its actually gone
And I just lost and angel, girl
Others call, "the one".

So here I sit, so deeply sorry
Really trying
Not to worry.

I was wrong, I have to say
I wish that you were here to stay.

My heart will always have Courtney
Your name.

The Power

Who am I?

What could I do for the world?

What is my purpose, as I delve into
my soul, the fresh ripple of the
merger.

I find a dark, timeless space ready
to be filled, a knowledge yearned, a
wisdom offered.

From a space of learning is a place
of wisdom, My answers offered, my
courage bold.

Attachments leak away as I myself
offer, the blocks, profound
obstacles...

I look up to all, i look up to myself,
my face and power glowing. My
readiness for my own.

The answers are ready, I am the
king of my universe, of my outcome,
decisions made from me lead to my
blessings to be.

Glowing inside is what I contain, for
words created and destroyed every
battle.

The Light and the Shadow

Endlessy closer to the light you will go
Exponentially more, your shadow shall grow.

Yet for each attempt and each desire
Your shadows right there, to share the prize.

Mankind can succeed and learn a whole life
Snuggled and bonded, your shadow lies tight

This is for good, for those whom feel guilty
An interesting dose of philosophical commentary

The shadow you see is really a good thing
For if you walk in the dark, that should make you think

The light, the good, the helper of them all
Would trust the shadow to catch what could fall

The darkness, and bad, times of unhappy things
Your shadows not there, to dampen the sting

Trust that shadow outside or in
Find it in all the visibly beautiful things

So just when you think this is now getting weird
Look at the floor or the wall and look who appears

And remind yourself that your shadows are great
For it gives you extra energy, to carry your weight
