Mankind can succeed and learn a whole life Snuggled and bonded, your shadow lies tight This is for good, for those whom feel guilty An interesting dose of philosophical commentary The shadow you see is really a good thing For if you walk in the dark, that should make you think The light, the good, the helper of them all Would trust the shadow to catch what could fall The darkness, and bad, times of unhappy things Your shadows not there, to dampen the sting Trust that shadow outside or in Find it in all the visibly beautiful things So just when you think this is now getting weird Look at the floor or the wall and look who appears And remind yourself that your shadows are great For it gives you extra energy, to carry your weight
