The Loss of Wisdom

They mourn wisdom not yet learned It flounces from their grasp, withers Away in the solar wind it burns Itself in the remnants of What once was a beautiful mind, They mourn wisdom not yet learned In this instanced reality Parallel our own treasured find Whisked away on the breeze it yearns Awhile for its past then thinks, as They mourn wisdom not yet learned These creatures of habit turn to Only what they knew, will never know The truth in starlight again nor the Real beauty of the sun's glow They mourn wisdom not yet learned

The Tomb

Time is serenading a soulless march
September sings mournful, parched tomb
Lies untouched in the bleeding hearts crying out
For redemption and hearing a requiem no doubt

Iniquity without solace, truth waved bye
Long ago and we suffer and die
As vapid pleonasms offer no comfort
To troubled minds and souls, now come forth

Receive the blessings found in this tomb
Reciprocity of love and truth now looms
Across the sky when you enter here and help
The impecunious muster, give them a hand

Love your brother young man, for this tomb
In its glory and blazing irascible light dooms
Evil's plans of vile treachery, blindsides the
Buried bile of biblical mockery so confided and...
Entombed eternal

"Become who you were born to be, not who you've allowed yourself to become."

To Die Alone

Cast
Out
Lonely
Dying

I then
Seek to
Ease pain
Ease suffering

Holy God above
Is it time
My time then

I ask so gently
Do not take me
I am not ready
Ease me into it

Give Me

Three words to do magic, touch the stars
Three words to undo a lifetime of hate
And anger, these all will be quenched

Thirsty yet, for those three words?
The triple threat, those beautiful ones are
Said with none of the regret
Do it all over, not a chance you bet
Then trust me to stop and say
Just the three

Most precious and sought after words,
Just those unbelievably powerful visceral like
Vocabulary vocal treasures, vanquishing evil
With heavenly grace, say them with me now
I love you
And did I mention... God does too.

Cinis Ad Cinerem, Pulvis Ad Pulverem

Do the ashes rest on the frigid ground so cold?
As they are seeing the next steps of infinity,
Ask that question of yours to the reaper, be bold.

Dust whence we came, dust shall we leave old,
Laying down I pray for us all, a touch of divinity,
Do the ashes rest on the frigid ground so cold?

What heavens seen or hell's abhorred, no gold
To replace what you've lost, are you missing eternity?
Ask that question of yours to the reaper, be bold.

Deaths dark door opens wide, it's coming foretold
By understanding, God's grace fills now the vicinity yet
Do the ashes rest on the frigid ground so cold?

Give in and surrender sweet one, bells have tolled
For you this time, meet them and with holy trinity
Ask that question of yours to the reaper, be bold.

No explanation for his love so gracefully doled
Out just so, yet you ponder this beautiful affinity,
Do the ashes rest on the frigid ground so cold?
Ask that question of yours to the reaper, be bold.

A Father's Failure

The great wish is that we shall never feel,
Dark as the shady thorns over the yonder;
Beating hearts of gloom just atop the hill
Men with rage they neglect the ponder.

Oh, it were I was happy fool as any
Content to play the game of dull pretense,
Specious are these moments for so many;
Truth tales of lies to their own bitter ends.

Some would weasel that amends could be made
Bed is done lied in, for shame has come in;
Son against father with sharp verbal blade
Killed a command, instead honored sin.

Yet in the dark, light still filtered good through,
Heaven and hell, God above only who knew.

Deference

Profligacy a primary constituency of the damned
Given this then what is the propensity of the lamb?
Climb out of the wool and drop it over another's eyes
Why give deference or a damn about another's cries?

He who cares not about a fellow man
Shall in turn care not about his own plan
The heart will rot and fall apart
Before things even begin to get a start

Ruinous greed and hate made bow before the sullied king
Get then what you deserve, oh as powerful evil rings
Through an angels voice I can hear him sing
Deceiver alive and truly cavorting in wild carnal flings

Choose instead to give deference to the cries
Help the other lambs and eliminate the lies
In your heart and your soul you will then know
King of Kings unsullied and all hearts will glow

Liars Lyres

Lies flute
Shadows discord
Bellows forth to night's arms
Tears salty anger languishes
Deceit

The Answer

Softly speaks at night Dreams of all tucked in very snug, Faith wrapped, loved always Imbues freedom with Ringing tones of peaceful notes Cuts the grey dense air Covers soldiers of Light, the wings enveloping, All hatred now gone Kissing devils and Hugging angels in hiding Curing ills of mind Minding the absence; Without which we perish, then, The answer is love _____________________ Please find God's love, it is all around us and my friends... it is the answer.
