Behind the Mask

Behind the mask there is a frail and fragile me
Enigmas clothed in conundrums; that the naked I can’t see

'Behind the mask is concealed, my authenticity
Examine my history to unravel my perplexing mysteries

Behind the mask it is unseen paralyzing, piercing pain
With arrogance and self-assurance camouflaging the shame

Behind the mask is hidden my true Identity.
Seek and survey the signs of my obscurity

Behind the mask is veiled a heart that’s been broken
Held together by unexpressed resentment and animosity unspoken

Behind the mask is where my insecurity hides,
Like realism wrapped in riddles, you must read between the lines

Behind the mask is where I cover my falling tears
Dig just below the surface and you’ll unearth my crippling fears

Behind the mask there are cloaked secrets unexplained and untold
Decipher the symbols to crack my encrypted codes

Behind the mask you’ll uncover my True expressions
Remove and reveal parodies, and expose the false impressions

Behind the mask, it is hidden, my Individuality.
Not acting out some script of who I’m thought to be

Behind the mask is obscured my, vulnerability
Suppressing the mounting manifestation of the inner me

Behind the mask it is disguised, my true reflection
Underneath open wounds inflected by rejection

Behind the mask rest crushed and shattered dream
Where fear muzzles roaring whispers and screeching silent screams

Behind the mask is buried, my stolen youth
Deception, and cover-ups, masquerading as facts and truth

Behind the mask is where I screen the confusion
Look close and you’ll find, trickery and deception, draped in fantasy and optical
illusions

Behind the mask it’s stifling; it is hard for me to breathe,
The walls of deceit that i have built ,are quickly closing in on me.

I am trapped behind facades of smirks and phony smiles.
So may I please remove this mask just for a little while?

Know Your Worth

You are so much more than your hips or your thighs.
More than the stares and the glares, or some young man’s lies
BUT YOU HAVE TO KNOW YOUR WORTH
More stunning than the Mona Lisa
Your likeness can’t be molded into sculpture
you are living, breathing art.
You are not defined by your body,
Only your soul and your heart
BUT YOU HAVE TO KNOW YOUR WORTH
When you look in the mirror, please see more than your reflection.
See the essence of beauty
a work of perfection.
You are the inheritance of the promise.
You are the covenant unbroken,
You are cries unheard
and words unspoken
BUT YOU HAVE TO KNOW YOUR WORTH.
You are much more radiant than the stars
you are breathtaking constellations
You are a valley of virtue.
A Lady in waiting
You are shores of compassion surrounding oceans of faith
You are the much needed cool, caressing breeze, on a hot summer’s day.
You are the eighth, ninth, and tenth wonder of the world
Much more precious than diamonds and pearls
BUT YOU HAVE TO KNOW YOUR WORTH
You are more mystifying than the pyramids of Egypt,
More spectacular than snow caped peeks of Sweden
Your presence was predestined in the Garden of Eden.
BUT YOU HAVE TO KNOW YOUR WORTH
You are the silver lining stretching across the sky,
Broadened with truth, both gentle and meek
You are the earth’s horizon where land and sky meet.
You are a Queen, and upon your head you bare a crown
Adorned in wisdom, courage and strength
A most magnificent gift of GOD,
you are truly heaven-sent
But you have to know your worth

Ecstasy's Peak

Gazing into your eyes as you slip between my thighs
Wrapping myself around your joy, I can feel your nature rise.

Our bodies moving in sync, slowly swirling my hips
You caressing my love with your finger tips

Tasting your sweet skin, I feel you throbbing within
In a state of nirvana, were lost in heavenly sin

Dripping in sweat I’m softly kissing your neck
Gently clutching my breast, and I’m so soaking wet

Calling, your name out, the soft erotic sounds
Gratifying moans and groans, they become my silent shouts

Softly biting my lips; I try to quiet the cries
Your Ecstasy playing and swaying, I feel it growing inside

Succumb to my pleasure, lose all self-control
Release the lust you hold inside, just let it all flow

A continuous climax, my composure disappears
A spell that is euphoric, trying to hold back the tears

Climbing ecstasy’s peak, you smoothly taking your time
There’s no need to rush, we have the rest of our lives.

A Total Enigma

I can’t be branded and put into a box
I’m a rhyme wrapped within a riddle a complete paradox
I won't carry the labels, or walk around with the stigma.
I am the great unknown a total enigma
I am an incomplete masterpiece, a beautiful disaster
I am the once upon a time and the happily ever after
I am realism, embedded within a parody
I am hesitation and doubt, clothed in certainty.
I am cause and effect, the inevitable reaction
I am the unattainable that brings complete satisfaction
I am an open book, and still a complete mystery.
I am a façade, covered in authenticity
I am assurance and conviction, facts draped in fiction
I am chaotic peace and silent confliction
I am the writing on the wall that you try to decode
I am a living saga, great legends untold
I am a conundrum, a million scattered puzzle pieces
I am the hypothesis that obliterates your thesis

Sweet Surrender

I would willingly lose myself, to find rest in your iridescence
Thirsting the taste of your sacred place, craving your inner presence
I would freely submit myself, offer my sweet surrender
Kneel at the altar of your love presenting gifts of endless splendor
I would happily give you my trust and all that it may hold
Intertwining our spirits one unto another until the two become one soul
I would willingly be consumed by your thoughts and take root within your dreams
Take you beyond euphoria, show you things, you’ve never seen
I would willingly taste of your skin and savor your blissful essence
Seductively sip of your springs, and relish your quintessence
I would willingly manifest your yearnings, make your desires reality
Ride to the realms of seventh heaven; act out your wildest fantasy
I would happily fall to my knees and worship you as a king
Reverence you with admiration, respect and untamed sexuality
I would freely wrap you within the warmness of my femininity
Liquefy your lingering lust, Melt onto your masculinity,
I would willingly freeze this moment in time, just to live this life with you
Love you the way you deserve to be loved.
The way that only I, can do.

Sanity Forsaken

Don’t leave me here alone with my thoughts
entangled,
ensnared
wedged,
caught

The roaring whispers
the screeching silent shouts

Please stay a while longer
My soul is crying out

Thoughts
they're racing
they're playing
tumbling through my mind

Silence
absconded
misplaced
I cannot find

Peace
be still
I will seek thee
Do not leave

For
jealousy
suspicion
paranoia
disbelief

My thoughts
they lie
they steal
they cheat

corruption
deception
fraud
dishonesty

Reasoning
 plays coy

Sanity
 has
 forsaken me?

One Night Stand

90 down the expressway and I’m handling this stick
I am the true definition of a ride or die chick

Changing lanes, swerving in and out of traffic
Head in your lap, and I’m working my magic

Doing things to you that you’ll never forget
I thought I told you from the start that I’m an exhibitionist

You can take me anywhere, I don’t care who sees
Say you want it now and I will fall to my knees

I don’t care who’s watching, I hope they enjoy the show
Mind blowing sex like this, they will never know

The original Mrs. Nasty, Janet stole that name
I enjoy it nice and slow, but I thrive off the pain

Take a hit of me, and I’ll control your mind
Believe me when I tell you, I am one of a kind

I don’t want your money; keep your diamonds and pearls
Not a gold digger, a money sniffer, I’m not a material girl
I just need a Mandingo warrior who can rock my world

I am not the quiet type. I’ll loudly scream and shout.
I dont want to make love, just tryin' to get my back blown out

I don’t want to be your baby’s momma; you can keep the baby carriage
I’m not trying to lock you down; I don’t want your hand in marriage

This is just a booty call, a sexual relationship
Please don’t get too clingy, I don’t want your commitment

I might call you Papi, when I need a helping hand
Or I may not call you at all. This was just a one night stand

Poetic Seduction

.

Your written words roll off my tongue, and I savor the taste
Captivating my desires, with your nostalgic embrace

Your verses I desire, your poesies I crave
Your sensual phrases place me in a daze

Rhythmically in sync, steadying the pace
Melodies in motion, no need for haste

Intoxicated by the scent of your lyrical fragrance
My imagination climaxes from your melodic persuasion

Your hypnotic undertones send chills down my spine
It’s like poetic seduction when I read between your lines

Share My Love

*******************************************************************

Come and share my love,
I’ll give you all of me
Offer everything I am
Give it graciously

Come and share my love
I want to lose myself
Surrender everything I own
Until I have nothing left

Come and share my love
Let’s lay the night away
As I wrap my warmth around you
Until dawn, turns to day

Come and share my love
Like you’ve been yearning to do
Your every wish is my command
I will submit to you

My History

When you look at me what do you see
Can you see the land that I descend from, where we were once Kings and Queens.
Can you see my forefather’s journey, across, tear tarnished seas
Can you count the lives that were lost, as they sailed to tyranny?

When you look at me what do you see
Do you see my families torn apart, Bought and sold into slavery.
Can you see the blood stained legacy? Do you feel the travesty
Can you hear my grandmothers cries, as her children was separated
Can you see her raped, beaten, and chained, can you imagine the degradation?

When you look at me what do you see
Do you see, my grandfathers whipped and, bond, swinging from trees?
Can you see a race in bondage? Can you feel the cruelty ?
Can you envision the scars, welts, and wounds; the pure agony.
Do you feel the oppression of a people? The undoubted tragedy

When you look at me, what do you see
Can you see the ones that came before, that struggled to be free
Can you see the fight for freedom, respect and equality
Do you understand the sacrifices, their strength and resiliency

When you look at me, what I want you to see
Is the manifestation of my ancestors’ dreams
See the pride of a heritage which lives within me.
