Pretty Face

There's more to me then just a pretty face
a physical being, not just empty space.
Being involved with me isn't me alone
I have baggage and packages and things of my own.

Will you be there for me when I need a helping hand...
Will you be there for my son when he just don't understand...
Are you willing to try and put in some time
Or just back away and feed me some line.

Feelings, emotions, heartbeats in rhyme
My mind pandering like a wild lavish vine
Thoughts and Images run through my head
Replaying some of the many words you've said.

I'm not just some toy u can toss aside when your threw
Memories in a box, pushed aside when you find something new.

Complete

You complete my every wish
you're more then i could ever dream
and you love me whole heartedly
with no hesitations, no holding back.

you're in my every thought
your face in my every fantasy,
when I'm dreaming during the night
it's always you that is in my sights.

As I lay my head on the pillow
that your soft skin had touched,
The scent of you lingers behind
long after you have left my bed.

You control my happiness
just like you hold my heart,
be careful... hang on...
It could easily break apart.

As my eyes slowly close shut
the thoughts of you clear in my mind,
the scent of you strong as ever before
I can almost feel you holding onto me.

Were you really there, gently caressing my face.
Or was it another dream, in some far off place...
I hope it was real, I pray with all my might
because' you complete me, you make my darkness bright.

I Love You

You appeared out of nowhere
God must have kept you hidden as my surprise
waiting for the last possible moment
to save my love from demise

Your soul shined it's white light
and forced it's way through
passing by all my terrors and fears
and replacing them with feelings so new

you broke through my walls
with a graceful ease I have never seen
taking down brick by brick
examining each one for what it means.

you opened the locked door
pieced together my broken down soul
mended my distrusting heart
took my life in hand, and made it whole.

I want to know everything about you
each everlasting detail
like a long emotional love letter
sent to me through the mail

you make my heart flutter
like no one else ever could
and i freeze in position
in the exact spot where i last stood.

your sweet tenderness
melts my heart to it's core
wanting you - craving you
always needing more and more

your electrifying kisses
shocking each and every nerve
your passion filled hugs
warming each indent and curve.

as each day passes and the old clock ticks
my love for you continues to grow strong
while deep inside my heart
I know truly this is where i belong

I felt like i had waited an eternity
holding in what my heart knew was true
freeing my mind and thoughts
finally releasing those words - "I Love You"

You Make Me Feel

You're constantly making me smile
without appearing to use any effort at all.
Make my heart flutter like the feeling of jumping
off the tallest building just watching myself fall.

You surround me with happiness
with the joy from childhood dreams,
the beauty of a star filled night,
the light fog flowing off the cool stream.

The light chirp of little crickets
the deep low sound of a few frogs
the faint whisper of the wind
carrying along the far off bark of dogs.

You make me feel beautiful
like a maiden from back in the day.
frolicking through the fields
hurdling the small bails of hay.

As gorgeous as a summer sunset
with its shades of orange and red.
the soft moons glow
that brightens my thoughts in bed.

Your carefree personality
drifts softly through my mind
touching each and every memory
searching for everything it can find.

When i close my eyes to drift to sleep
i find myself reminiscing of you
the laughs, the feelings, the passions
and the things you say and do.

Desire

Desire crushes, Despair grips.
The passion I feel is so hard to resist.
Free me from this unimaginable desolate.
Take my thoughts, my memories and make me forget.

Infatuation runs through my veins.
Pretending I don't love you drives me insane
and when I look into your eyes
It's causing me so much pain.

Sometimes I feel-
feel that you more then 'just care'
other times you're distant and cold.
Like whenever she is there.

When I see you with her
my heart twists inside;
beating with frantic hope
that your desires have not yet died.

I'm tired of hiding these feelings.
Be honest - tell me how you feel.
You can't keep hiding,
the desires are real.
