Mistake of a Lifetime...Part 5

By the sound of her voice and the redness of her skin,

I can see the type of agonizing pain she is in.

Her scream is as loud as can be.

It seems like her life is going to end as far as I can see.

As soon as we enter the hospital, everyone stares at her and I.

Then suddenly she screams,"OH MY GOD I'M GONNA DIE!!!".

The doctors rush to her without any further say or do.

They quickly run her to a room so I run along with them too.

Her heavy breathing and screaming proved that she was going through excruciating pain.

And the intensity of her actions makes it seem like her life is going down the drain.

The painful tears and the deep depression in her eyes

just makes me want to break down and cry.

"IT'S COMING !!", she franticly yells.

Now it seems that my life is going straight to Hell.

The doctor says," You've got to push. Push like you've never pushed before !".

Now she begins to push more and more.

Suddenly, in a breif few seconds, the baby is out and for all to see.

But the only thing I see wrong about the baby is that it barely looks like its mother, but looks
completely nothing like me.

Now I'm left with this blank expression on my face with nothing to say and not knowing what
to do.

But that really doesn't matter right now because here comes baby number two...

L-O-V-E

L-Living with the fact that you have to give up your own selfish desires and bend to each
other's needs.

O-Offering yourself to your mate. Not completely, but just enough to make the relationship
last. Offer peace, trust, and happiness to eachother.

V-Victory! Having faith that your love will last through thick and thin. No matter what
happens, no matter what people say, you'll keep your faith in your relationship.

E-Everlasting. Knowing that your love will last 'til death do you part.

I Failed Her...

I loved her from the start,

so I thought 'til death do us part.

But little did I know that she had other plans.

Plans that my heart couldn't withstand.

Those words that tortured my soul,

and caused my heart to have a emtpy hole.

"I think we should take some time off", is what she said.

Now I sleep uncomfortably as I lay down in my bed.

It's been awhile now, and I haven't heard from you.

Is it that you feel my spirit too ?

Am I causing you to cry so that the tears will make everything become a blur ?

And that question made me realize that I failed her...

Mistake of a Lifetime...Part 4

Well, at least it wasn't another hard fall.

But when she said we were having two kids, it made my skin crawl.

I mean, it's been so long since I've seen her,

and we only had sex ONCE, so in my opinion, there's no way this could occur.

But it happened anyway,

and there's nothing I can do to make this go away.

Finally, we pull up to my parents' house and then I hear a sound.

A sound that made my world spin all the way around.

Her water had finally broke and I didn't know what to do at all.

And that's when she screamed," TAKE ME TO THE DAMN HOSPITAL!!!!".

So we rushed back into the car and we took off

while her skin is turning red and she's doing a dramatic cough.

I was so scared out of my mind.

I didn't even know if we were going to make it in time.

But there were bigger problems than that.

I didn't have the fatherly thing down pat.

But I have realized what I have to do.

I have to be there for my new family, especially newborn two.

I have to take more responsibilities than ever in my life.

I've been in the fantasy world for so long, it's like reality came out of nowhere and stabbed
me with a knife.

Finally, we pull up to the hospital and all my realizing was done,

next thing you know, here comes baby number one...

Mistake of a Lifetime...Part 3

Could this really be true ?

Have I done what I tried so hard not to do ?

'Cause what I see in front of me

is a sight that I wish not to see.

She is pregnant now, and I just don't know what to do.

'Cause when I saw her, my brain split into two.

But what pains me the most,

will haunt me worser than the haunting of a ghost.

I asked her, " Am I the father ?"

I already knew the answer so why did I bother.

She asked me, " Why wouldn't you be ?"

If only she knew how hard this is for me.

I still can't believe that I gave her an infant.

If I could go back in time, I'd change this mistake in an instant.

But it doesn't matter anymore.

Because this day was coming eversince I walked through this woman's door.

So now, I invite her to dinner with me and my parents.

So she goes to the car as I grab the presents.

Now as we make our way to the dinner she has another deadly announcement to make.

But this is an announcement that I wouldn't easily take.

Now again, I just don't know what to do.

For the baby, that was at first one, became two...

Mistake of a Lifetime...Part 2

Several months has past

eversince that event that happened last.

Not once have I thought of her.

In fact, everything that happened that day is now a blur.

I'm invited to dinner with my parents.

It's their anniversary and I haven't even got them any presents.

So I make a quick stop to the gift shop.

As I enter the shop, I come to yet another complete stop.

For what I see in front of me

is a sight that I wish not to see.

Just when I thought the crisis was over and done

it seems as if I have dropped back down to chapter one.

It was her yet again.

It was her, my long lost sin.

Now that I see her,

everyhing from the past is no longer a blur.

She turns around with a bright smile on her face.

And all I can think of now is how can I get out of this place.

But it's not just the sight of her that scares me.

It's also the sight of the living thing in her stomach that I believe shouldn't be...

Mistake of a Lifetime...Part 1

I wake up to a sweet morning fragrance

without last night in my remembrance.

And I find myself in an unfamiliar place

as I run to the bathroom to wash my face.

I keep trying to remember what happened last night,

but trying to remember is like trying to see through a bright light.

I go back to the room to put on the rest of my clothes

as the sun outside of the window glows.

I suddenly come to a stop to see what's in front of me.

It is a middle-aged woman holding two cups and a pitcher of hot tea.

Now I'm having these crazy thoughts going through my head.

Did I do what I think I did with this woman in her bed ?!

I asked her in a frightened voice, " What happened last night?"

And as she smiles and giggles, my thoughts come to me as a fright.

She tells me to calm down and relax

while I'm going insane trying to find out the facts.

She sits down beside me and gives me the hot tea

as she constantly stares at me.

She tells that it's okay,

but, at this point, I'm really not interested in what she has to say.

So without further say, I rushed out of the door.

Leaving this house and never to remember it anymore....

Angel From the Skies

She was a true gift from heaven.

On a scale of 1 to 10 she was even beyond an 11.

Her eyes filled with passionate fire.

The type of eyes that have their own desires.

Her hair was so straight and long,

and when everytime she would walk by, my heart would beat a song.

Her skin was so soft and perfect,

that she was just too hard to neglect.

And she was a definete sight for sore eyes.

Cause if you were to see her you would have to look up to the skies,

and ask, "God, is this your creation,

or is it just my imagination ?"

Cause never in my life have I seen such a beautiful thing.

So beautiful that it just makes me want to sing.

Now I know the absolute truth,

about this beautiful youth.

At first she was thought to be an angel in disguise.

Now she is known to be an angel from the skies...
