Freddy Rymbai Poem
I know you wished I had chosen you,
For I wished you had chosen me,
It's not always the things that comes back that's yours,
But the ones that stay despite the uncertainty.
I saw no love in your eyes,
But I saw all your fancy,
Staying was not an option,
It would have destroyed us eventually.
Looking back, I made my choice,
A choice from my shackles to break free,
You didn't tie me down, you could never tie me down,
For love isn't a captivity.
I know you wished I picked you, loved you,
Like an act from something flimy,
But life isn't like in the reels,
You don't get to always be happy,
I chose to break my heart,
Bury it eternally,
I chose to break it all,
I chose reality.
I chose reality.

Freddy Rymbai Poem
Fleeting youth, like petals bright,
Unfurls with promise, a wondrous sight.
Soft as a whisper, delicate as a sigh,
Dancing on breezes, with life's twinkling eye.
But soon, like autumn's chill, it fades,
Withers, and wrinkles, in life's swift shades.
Petals drop, like tears, like memories past,
Leaving the stem, bare, and forever aghast.
The flower's beauty, lost to the wind,
Echoes of laughter, silenced, and left behind.
The vibrancy, the glow, the radiant hue,
Fades to a whisper, of what once shone true.
Yet, even in withering, the flower's tale,
Reminds us to cherish, life's fleeting gale.
To hold dear, each moment, each kiss, each sigh,
For in the withering, we find, the beauty that's been, and why.
So let us bask, in youth's radiant glow,
And cherish each moment, as the flower's petals grow.
For though it withers, its beauty remains,
A memory, a whisper, of life's fleeting, sweet refrains.

Freddy Rymbai Poem
Do not cry for me,
All the hatred, all the love is lost with my body,
All the dreams and all the nightmares laid to rest,
I hold nobody's hand as I walk,
The only comfort...my shadow,
Fears and doubts have left me,
I am free,
All earthly things are behind me,
All earthly things are behind me,
I go to where you cannot come,
I weep for you instead.

Freddy Rymbai Poem
Your excuses are cut deep into me,
Every word, a wound on my skin,
They bleed but do not kill,
They weep but do not cry,
I watch myself losing you,
Losing my grip, finger by finger,
With every lie from your mouth,
With every excuse,
They say destiny decides who live or die,
But you choose my death,
A living corpse,
A hollow soul,
They were your excuses,
They became my consequence,
You decided upon the words...
That became our end.

Freddy Rymbai Poem
Maybe it's the face that we put on,
That makes us feel like everything is alright,
But we are all soo broken,
That it weighs heavily when we take it off at night.
We play pretend,
Like we know what's going on inside,
But the truth,
It's always been a losing fight.
We are all born grey,
All of us are,
May be some darker than others,
The ones drowning at the bar.
We are all losing the fight to life,
It was from the beginning, a losing bet,
The tiny glimpses of love and happiness blinds us,
The truth! We are all trying to get by before death.
Life gets us all,
It spares not a single one,
So put that face back on again,
Atleast try to have some fun,
So put that face back on again,
And find that reason under the sun.

Freddy Rymbai Poem
Rest my child,
May your dreams be forever sweet,
Like your gentle heart,
A peaceful sleep.
Drift into the silence,
To a peace I'll never know,
For until the world spins in reverse,
I cannot reach where you go.
Slumber away from the evils of this world,
Knowing love will always be by your side,
Rest in heavenly silence,
Pay no heed to the tears that fall at night.
Our prayers are with you,
Every second of everyday,
So sleep my child,
Until you wake up in our arms again someday...
Until you wake up in our arms again someday.

Freddy Rymbai Poem
We fall in love with angels inhabiting a person,
The heartstrings that are pulled in a stare,
Through the eyes and into the soul,
We recognise them as our own,
A piece that fills the void,
Our own,
Some stay,
Some leave us behind...
And when they leave, a part of us leaves with them,
A silent change in the soul,
Corrupt, selfish and rots like a stage of death,
Merciless,
Brutal, as it is beautiful,
Upon that departure, you will never be the same,
Never the same,
Yes, We fall in love with angels,
Alas! Angels don't belong on earth,
However, if fortune favours our stars,
We meet them again in another body,
To pick up where they left off.

Freddy Rymbai Poem
I place her in your arms Lord,
Let her heart beat again,
Let her wake in Your better tomorrow,
Away from the reality I am in,
Let her heart know no more sorrow,
Let her heart know no more pain,
Fill her heart with joy,
Let her heart beat again,
Shape her into a perfect angel,
As perfect as Your love,
Let her be a kid she never could,
Let her heart beat again,
Love her,
Cherish her,
The very best part of us,
Let her heart beat again,
And one day if she ever ask You,
Where she came from,
Tell her she came from two loving parents,
Who are still waiting for her heart to beat again.
