Faith Ozobu Poem
She drew paintings
many could not understand
Her body being her ever changing canvas
The cruel world her muse
She drew paintings
many could not understand
Her hands in constant use
ticking like a time bomb
Barrelling towards its last fuse
Leaving a gaping bruise
She drew paintings
many could not understand
NO one could confuse nor refuse
Much less excuse
Her eminent abuse
Soaked and drenched in red hues
She drew paintings
Even she could not understand
She had nothing to lose
When the world chose their views
Hate was infused
And now she was gone too.

Faith Ozobu Poem
Sunshine, Rainbows
I had all I wanted to everything
I've ever needed
Playing everything nice and slow
Now look, think, fast forward
Rewind, pause
I'm stuck in the past
One that was once meaningful
A bittersweet laugh
A downright dubious smile
Finally fed up with all my
Manipulative monster-like
Thunderstruck thoughts
Darkness a new light
Sadness a companion
Regret a great pleasure
Do I convey a happy persona?
Does no one realize my pain?
This flesh eating, soul crushing
Sinful darkness no one knew I had

Faith Ozobu Poem
It was quarter after nine
When I clocked in on that stop sign
What an insignificant design
Yet it provoked desire
Watching everything realign
Only one thing crossed my mind
Whilst everything roared tow that line
Two opposing thoughts intertwined
Once a beautiful sign
Now an unsupervised lifeline
Once a benign incline
Now a constant race against time
