Love Story Gone Wrong

Tears fall…

Eyes can’t seem to focus.

You say you want something….

I thought it was love.

I believed it…

So I gave you what you asked for.

Savagely, with eyes full of hunger you took it.

Just like the rest of them.

You didn’t even care…

You let yourself inside me.

Now I’m your drug.

You’re addicted to something I wish I could stop.

But you won’t let me.

I thought it was love…

Turns out it was just a joke.

That’s all it could ever be now.

People tell me they make love.

All I’m thinking is…

Love can’t be made,

Only faked.
