melancholy Night

The wind passed by
The pages flipped
I looked up at the night sky
Enchanted with the glory of darkness
I breathed in the scent of the dead
Leaves of coral brushing together
Creating an addicting sound
It was somewhere in the melody of that night,
I felt truly Alive.

mother

You tell me to study,
To focus, to learn,
Yet you don’t seem to care,
Content with a 50 percent

you tell me to study
so that i can be independent
To avoid a future of dependence,
To escape the fate you endured,

For a moment, I could believe
You only wanted me to suceed
Who else would be so concerned,
If not my own mother?

But you don't know
Your daughter is a lost cause,
Not someone to pin hopes on,
An empty vase,
Devoid of blooming flowers

Your eyes, filled with guilt and disgust,
They make me want to kill—
Kill every dream that i ever dreamed
The true dreams,
for ME

When I see your eyes
filled with guilt and disgust,
for all the nights you spent blaming yourself
how shall i repay?
for all the tears you shed for me
what have i become?

I want to dig a hole inside these walls,
run away to places far way,
for i have disappointed you enough,
for me being there or not
dosent make a difference

These walls of my room,
The room where I’ve spent half of my life.
Maybe one day you’ll realize,
somewhere beneath these walls,
Lies the real me.
that day, the same tears will fall,
But they shall reflect on a different me—

in those hopeful eyes
i want to see
the real me,
a new me
a better me.

unfinished journey

The destination to my odeyssey
 A train I'll never catch
A journey never fulfilled
Shall I commence anew?
Shall i let it fade away?

Will I ever find a train again?
A chance to forget this pain?
 Regrets, achievements and money
Love, tears and gain?

 You appear as fine honey
 Reek of tainted money
You're the paint to my skies
 dull as a weathered wood
but I disregard their lies

 You don't stand among them
You're a diamond among the rest
Your silhouette in the colour of rum,
Voice as gentle as a birds hum

You're a colourless rainbow
you're the moonlight to my river
 The cream atop my cake
The only thing i would ever take,
Is a kiss beneath the moonlight

Nevertheless, I'll hold you tight
For when times are tough
For the times we quarrel
For when you're words are rough

I'll put a stop to my grief
An end to this belief
 An end to this world
 A world full of thieves

What's the use of this love dear?
What's the worth of bitter honey?
A colourless Rainbow, a dull paint?

A love so blind,A sky so faint ?
A hopeless theif, a mindless kiss?
 A cream cake, a rum's bliss?

 An unending creed,
You're my selfish greed

You are the one I always crave
 the one I'll never need.
                                                     -ishi
