William P. Harris Poem
Can you tell which way the wind blows
An echo always knows
What needed to be said
Ringing still , in your head
Pain rain nothing left to gain
All left a stain
Beauty gets tainted
Painted
All fades with each tick of a clock.
Hearts close and lock
Hide that key
Let no one see
My Frankenstein heart
stitched carefully,
But unsure if it can or will , restart

William P. Harris Poem
I sit out here nothing to do. Waiting for school to start.
All around me ,solitude. The great nothing.. I watch the birds. Seems I have a crazy imagination.
These birds have their own society. And they work together most always they pull together in times of stress.
If a big predator bird flies over two little birds will attack. Doesn't matter they are different kinds of birds. They always have a wingman.. they sit, spread out over the place ,guardian of the no fly zone over all the pond area. Each time these two different birds chase of a big bird thess two birds do this little victory dance around each other. Kinda cool two watch. Same dance everytime no matter the two birds. I think it's their birdie version of the high five. .
Watch two little birds taking on two bigger birds. Giving them hell . All of a sudden one of the little birds break off and leaves the one fighting the two. I jump up yelling" no no don't ever leave your wingman. "
My eyes following it .( I get so bored lol)
I noticed it had saw another big bird swooping the pond and went to engage it, chasing it away from the pond
Had to appreciate them little guys. Each doing their part protecting each other
No matter the species or how different they are from each other they got each other's back. That's how a community should be ran
. Or maybe I just spend to much time alone lol . Don't watch TV. But I have plenty to watch
No poem this time. Just observation were humans could learn from the critters of this earth. Just my thoughts.

William P. Harris Poem
Try to find good in each day
It helps me along my way
I look around
Trying to see where I'm bound
Hope one day I'll be found
Sometimes not so sure
Life's a blur
Anger in my heart
Won't let it tear me apart
I have to be better than that
Pulling a smile out of my hat
Concentrating not on what's bad
That makes me sad
Sometimes it is hard
Especially if my soul feels jarred
Lost in a world full of hate
Looking for a clean slate
When I'm down
I refuse to drown
Stuck in a thought
Hard fought
Your mind
I find
Is a rough place to get lost
Pain is usually the cost
Hard to separate
Love and hate
Fate
Fear leaves you stuck on the same page
Rage
Leads down an empty road
Doubles your load
Step away
Open the door to a new day
Try to smile
It will help after awhile
Make it your style.

William P. Harris Poem
The hardest job you will ever have is love.
It is not just a gift from above.
It takes a lot of work to get it right.
Sometimes you may fight.
But always be each other's light.
Don't get stuck on a negative thought.
This is from lessons taught.
Only thinking about the bad.
Makes you sad.
Turns your thoughts blue.
Makes the negativity come true.
If you focus on the good.
This must be understood. The happy stays stronger.
Longer.
You only have today.
Face it in a positive way.
If you face life with grace
Tomorrow will fall into place.

William P. Harris Poem
Good morning says the frog
Sitting on the log
Talking to my dog
How was you day
What do you have to say
It was ruff
Oh that is tough
Says the frog
Sitting on the log
Next to the ledge
By the waters edge
Your nose is cold
You must feel bold
Sticking your nose on me
Curious as can be
It is not every day
Someone can hear what I say
Stumbling across such as I
Sitting here enjoying the sun in the sky
Eating this fly
Nothing better to do
Than talk to you
This is how I spend my days
Love it in so many ways
Will stay here
Without fear
Says the frog
Sitting on the log
Talking to my dog
Sit here till the summer starts getting old
Nights starts getting cold
Then I sleep
Do not weep
I will be back
I have flies to attack
Says the frog
Sitting on the log
Talking to my dog

William P. Harris Poem
Wind is blowing pretty hard.
See why the hand holds
Will lift you and slam you. Sometimes the boat leaves the water completely.
Your raceing around the deck trying not to be swept overboard.
You are so soaked, wind chilling you to the bone.
Half filled with fear
Yet the grin says I'm having the time of my life
Make a mistake your dead
I have no care about dead. Doesn't matter to me.
I'm alive. Nature slamming me every way
Waves that lean the boat to where you swear the boats mast is almost touching the water each rock of a wave
What's crazy I can't swim a lick .
Don't care. Better my body on the ocean floor than ashes sitting forever on someone's shelf
You can sit in a couch feeling sad thinking life has past you by .
Waste away in sorrow
No thoughts on tomorrow
Or get yourself up go out and bring life to you
Like its said you live only once.
You live every day.
you die only once
Your choice. Make the most out of what short time we get, or you waste away wishing.
Yeah. Only you can make this choice

William P. Harris Poem
Try to make it back to where it is I came
Wading through life's it's always been the same
Life lead me this way
Lost for the day
Driving a road stuck between heaven and hell
Am I driving to fast I can't tell
But it's all in the game you choose
And it does matters if you win or loose
One way gets you so much pain
The other, you have just became another dark road stain
Living life isn't always as easy as it seems
Living and then losing all your dreams
The other you drive so hard and fast
But your racing memories from the past
Driving all night in the pouring rain
This life gives you so much strain
Racing back from where you came from
Trying hard to get you some
But love never comes for free
That's something some just cannot see
They take your heart then leave you crying alone in the rain
Leaving your heart filled with pain
Just to go racing off again.
Just taking her out for a spin
Again and again playing it close to the heart
Then losing it all just before the start
Win or lose
It's up to you to chose
I'm still driving along somewhere lost in the game
Will it ever be the same
Longing for a way back home
Doomed to always roam
Driving forever across that drifting sky
Taking a moment to sit and softly cry
before I go flying through
That eternal skyway
Then we are going along till the next day
Living so long along side this long winding road
Carrying your crimes heavy load
Paying for all the sins you made so long ago
Let's sit back and enjoy the show
And don't you know right on time , here comes the train
you just have to think now just who is to blame

William P. Harris Poem
...... Here I fly ....
Do you know why
Have no reason to stay
Going home today
Lighter than air
Not a care
Cause I dare
Yesterday lies behind
Tomorrow is out of mind
What lies ahead
The love I will be fed
Flying foward
Ever towards
Past the horizon I go
It's all I know
Past the clouds in the sky
So high
.. I fly ...
A never ending flight
Beyond sight
Like a bird flying free
How that would be
Break earth's binding tie
So high
I dare to fly
... Set free ...
What wonders I see
Flying beyond tomorrow
Towards the land of no sorrow
Towards my new home waiting
Cause I didn't spend my time hating
My soul is now free to fly
Never to die
... No reason to cry ...
My wings are just carring me home
Done is my time to roam
Past what lies behind
Cause I know what I'll find
Peace of mind
So I fly
.... Ever so high ....

William P. Harris Poem
Time, passing me by
Yesterday's my reason why
No longer I try
Passing me by like
yesterday's smile
Done walked that mile
Demanding I give her my heart
But with hers she'll never part
Way it goes
Everybody knows
Yesterday's smile won't carry me that far
that seems about par
What can you do
Stepping on past that color blue
Before you can make me weep
My heart I will keep
Don't need your I love you
No word is true
So I keep on a walking
Leaving you a talking
Life done showed
All love is blowed
Can't let that seed be sowed
When the heart breaks
That's all it takes
I got taken to school
And that's cool
Learned I could stand on my own
Don't want your love shown
Maybe I've grown
All I need is me
I have come to see
Now that makes me free

William P. Harris Poem
Whistling sofly through my window
Listening , the moment started to slow
The ballad of the song bird
For a moment was all I heard
Sat there so long
Listening to his song
Not a note wrong
His music was rising and falling
Other birds soon came a calling
Joining his song
Before long
Music filled the air
I felt not a care
At that moment in time
I came up with this rhyme
A concert just for me
Such a beautiful ballad it be
A black bird Whistling lead , head a bobbing keeping the beat
When joined by the bluebird , I knew I was in for a treat
And I had a front row seat
Lost to the music around me
Best concert I ever did see
And it was all free
