Night, the Dark Groom

Bloom of floral life halts at utter gloom
Lives sleep, nevertheless lives come alive
At the break of night, the day of the groom

From chirp to chirp, and we bid bye to blue
Fellows to abode, drones as well to hives
The white bride deserts the awful black groom

New light is born but scarce to fill a room
Old light hibernates in nature's archive
At the break of night, the day of the groom

Lunar;astral lights too faint to illume
And the groom is gifted a faulty bride
At the break of night, the day of the groom

For distorted sight, we tend to assume
What lies where and whatever to decide
The white bride deserts the awful black groom

While baleful lives wear sinister perfumes
Others in bed expect the good old light
Rejuvenation, perfection of sight
At the break of light, departure of gloom

Deceitful Tongues

Rabasha Kabasha
Old Prophet Noadiah
Rifling society
Lying to God

Judgement shall fall on thee
Incomprehensibly
Thou art an enemy
One to the Lord

The Rose That Lived By the Lake

The rose that lived by the lake
At dawn she bloomed, she wakes
For humanity, for beauty's sake
The rose that lived by the lake

The rose that lived by the lake
Men of old paused to seek her face
Dazzled they were by the gaze of
The rose that lived by the lake

The rose that lived by the lake
Her splendor remedied aches
Firmly rooted, never to shake
The rose that lived by the lake

The rose that lived by the lake
Greeted princes on their way
Men smiled with much at stake seeing
The rose that lived by the lake

The rose that lived by the lake
Purified for a thousand years
None to keep, none to take
The rose that lived by the lake

The rose that lived by the lake
Caused kings around to debate
What palace befitted its magnificence
The rose that lived by the lake

The rose that lived by the lake
Had its head cut onto a plate
A tragic and terrible end of
The rose that lived by the lake

The Eight In Seventy Two

Ploddingly it took the form
Of some dispassionate melody
Our wailing voices at crescendo
For our undying we mourn

With care they traipsed the deck
A mass of notions in mind
Did ten artlessly disappear
or were held by the Atlantic's inside?

Still we stood and tried to inform
Searchers of our malady
That we living men hitherto
can presently not be seen

Still we stand on Mary's deck
To us the world is blind
As they neither see nor hear
our gestures nor our cries

Not all can be explained
Not all can we fathom
Some presences can't be felt
like the eight in seventy two

She Knows

The epoch bleeds of songs etched in the hearts of men
who though affection sought were never an inch near
Niggling emotions, ominous nights of unrest
The heart had charged its cost for needs unmet

Illness is the picture of life devoid this pleasure which
Lies seemingly close but is yet beyond reach
Of all the Earth's gold, this stands above treasure
Verily, this could be understood by all who sought
Earning some compensation that ranked below their thoughts

Yearning acknowledgement, filled pools with emotions
Over and again if in pursuit I have to remain
Until it is granted, more nights of unrest

My Echo and Sister

ME: Tell me my dear echo
With such garguantan appetite
Is my sister a Dino?
ECHO: No!
ME: How does she spend so much
On wigs and relaxer
ECHO: Ask her
ME: Can I keep up with her excesses?
Can I overcome this pressure?
ECHO: Sure
ME: If only I had a wish
I'll send her to Dreamland
ECHO: And?
And then I'll be happy
when she's so far away
