you make me feel special
but only sometimes
you make me feel loved
but only sometimes
and the problem is
i love you
all the time
even if you make me feel horrible all the time
even if you only want me for your convenience
i love you
even if you don’t

you love me all the time
you tell me i’m pretty
you call me
you do everything for me
you love me
so why
why cant i love you?
your perfect
nothing about you is wrong
so why?

you make me flutter red in the face
you say such pretty things
i think about you all the time
#3 your in my mind but so is #1
your both so different
#3 he talks and communicates his feelings
#1 she’s perfect in my eyes with her hair and pretty eyes
#2 i only think of you when i’m lonely
your a need i have but only sometimes
we go a day without talking and i’m already missing you
all three of you with beautiful blue eyes
like an ocean swirling mountain
there’s so many things that make me want all three of you
so the question is
#1, #2, or #3?

we broke it off finally i say
your annoying and clingy
your always texting me
always calling me
always telling me how pretty i am
always saying you love me
it makes me think about you all day
it’s annoying i say
then you leave and i think
i’m better off without you
right?
then why does the thought of you leaving
make me cry
cry so hard i’m sobbing
i’m crying the ugly cry
the one where my eyes are puffy
and there’s snot coming out my nose
the one where i’m shaking on the floor
the one where i can’t breath and i’m gasping for air
the one where the thought of you hurts like hell
the cry where i want to text you
tell you i’m sorry
and that i’ll never do it again
but then
the ugly cry goes away
i wipe the snot
the tears
i breath the air
and i stand
i stand up and let you be
because if you had wanted this
we would have it and i wouldn’t be crying.

i’ve always thought i didn’t have any fears
that i was never scared of anything
like spiders, or the dark
i could over come it easily
but when it came to you
i was terrified
not of you
but the feelings i felt with you
you made my stomach flutter
and my face red
you made me giggle a laugh i didn’t know i had
you made me stare in a way i didn’t want to
you made me nervous to the touch and
you made me stutter every word i wanted out
there wasn’t an escape when you weren’t there either
you. were. always. there.
the simple thought of you made me flutter with joy
there wasn’t a way out
you were like a disease, a sickness
but unlike a disease i didn’t want you to go
i wanted you to stay
to hug me
and tell me the parts of your day
i wanted you
you had infected my heart with your love
and i loved it
i loved everything about you
your hair
your laugh
your eyes sparkling
the way you made a face at anything confusing
and the way nothing stopped you ever
i loved every part about you
you gave me love
but i fear exactly that.
