Raven Skies

Being lost in your mind; and left alone to roam; In a house with all the lights burning; but nobody's home In the clear night; stars burning brightly; but no lines drawn or shown Constellations; the only connection; that's never physically known But that's where salvation lies; Hidden behind those dead eyes; In the infinite unions; found; in those raven skies

Scorpio

Don't claim that you know me don't even try You don't have the tools to open that door, no matter how hard you pry If I share part of me with you you're only getting what I offer My thoughts are constantly evolving and could not fit anyone's coffer I would rather tell you the truth, and bare all of your ire Then spend a second with you, if you' are a ____ liar If you play games with me do not be surprised When I decide to play too, and expose all of your lies However if your fourth right in showing patience with me I will show you a depth of love, your life never thought it would see If you expect that I will chase you, be prepared to want a lot more I'm likely to barely say goodbye, but I'll happily open the door I'm not the type of person, that lives to forgive and forget But if you earn friendship with me, I'll take your place in hell, with no regret If you find yourself my lover, you have won life's greatest prize For after you've been cherished by me, no other will catch your eyes The best moments in my life, are the ones that no one else will ever know Loving, loyal, intuitive and passionate, I am a Scorpio

A Century To the Soup Combined

Eddie currents confused the conduits in this mind
How can the transformers in the brain go not blind
Confusing is the light, direct me as it's straight shined
Hundreds of emotions imprisoned and confined
Thoughts going back to teenage years deeply pined
Worrying about the love effects totally enshrined
Consider this cancer, your thoughts are far too kind
This melon has been carved deep, right to the rind
Missing all that I've lost, forever rightly defined
Penned for the world to read like riding bare on equine
A century, now I've given the soup all I have mined
Mentored by Sotto, DT, Mo, Anaya, and P. Hind
Mused by Constance, Brandy, Sunshine, Anna, I've refined
Influenced by Gershon, Paula, and Dilly, like whine
Holding fast to FJ, Charles, Eve & Deb my heart relined
My love for you all wide openly is to remind

Puddin - Nursery Rhyme Potd 3-2-2023

What's that on the shoreline run, all amok "Is that a beaver?"Or incredibly furry duck?" Ponder they did Koala and Roo About a stranger, that came into view We must look closer said the two friends As they drew near, mud and dead ends In that very moment, it ate a frog Then ran back home, to the edge of the bog As they approached its eyes, sweet and somber What could its name be, they did ponder When in that moment, from out of its bill It said "pleased to meet you both. What a thrill! I'm not a beaver, duck, or a sourpuss Names Puddin mates. I'm a platypus!

Ascending Belonging

Ascending within; to feel my happiness climB
Setting out solo; internal ecstasy can providE
Carving contentment by relearning to crawL
Enjoying this wonderful spiritual crescendO
Noticing on the way; all little things contaiN
Dualities in me but don't require explaininG
Intrinsic kaleidoscopes; always up the antI

Panning For Painful Metaphors

It's still flowing, never stopping to change direction
Cuts are made without sharpening, perfection;
Behold the pain; beholden, the bastard
This river's banks, always see the last word
The stream of water that only the ravens tend;
Panning for painful metaphors; to no end
Flowing; with all the liquidity of a snake
There's just more confusion in its wake
Why has this mortal life made no sound?
This brook beguiled; the lost and drowned

Showing me the universe

Arm-in-arm unspoken is the message received; neither of us is looking to disperse; Standing parallel, hands held laced, with a kiss to yours averse I'll look for days at a loss for simple ways to remember each smile you intersperse; Though our dinner is done, can we still be spoons who can also converse? I hold your head, and we watch the sky fade to honey-red; day, please reverse! Be damned the stars playing out the scene of all nights past rehearse As city lights come on all around us, I'm lifted from a lifetime's blinding curse On this terrace, while they sparkle in your eyes, you're showing me the universe

I Am Who I Want To Be

Who knew you were so mechanically incline
My cardiac specialist, you fixed the broken in mine
Who knew you possessed such a green thumb
Growing feelings in a salted heart that was numb
Who knew you could build something out of nothing
Filling the void, the abyss, the hole with your everything
Who knew you could be a blanket wrapping me
Without disillusion, with you, I am who I want to be

Diphylleia Grayi

Diphylleia grayi turns transparent in rain,
Transforming before me to lustrous bone
Drawing out aches in my marrows pain
Patience — the clouds will fade, leaving you standing alone
Ending transparency, we find white in every pane
Wringing you dry; elevates this capstone
Wet again, you bloom into ice-etched floral glass
Hiding in purity, the world forgets quickly; how clarity is surpassed

Your Brown Eyes To Me

S-olar flares deeply stairs
A-mber, my heart swears
N-o one relishes my cares
D-rawn to your Auburn eyes
Y-earning to see their prize

E-ffervescence they disguise
Y-our honey controls destiny
E-verlasting the best to me
S-worn to you reverently

O-ffering you my fealty
F-or you see the best in me

B-estowing lemon green tea
R-arity you bring consistently
O-rnate your shades of honey
W-on my soul's battle totally
N-o one outshines your brown eyes to me
