Isn'T She Cute

barely legal yet she walks with a cats strut
                                    (meow)

barely legal yet she wears all that make-up
                             (yuck)

barely legal yet she has already had sex
                           (wilingly)

barely legal and she's already a stripper
                                     (dollar dollar)

barely legal and she changed her name to candy
                                        (not cane)

barely legal and she already made a porno movie
                                         (for free)

barely legal and she already had two abortions
                                      (at home)

barely legal and she lives out on her own
                                      (in the streets)

barely legal and she's already engaged
                            (to the game)

barely legal and she had breast implants
                                  (that were botched)

barely legal and her names on every wanted page
                               (not for hire)
barely legal and her minds so messed up
                            (on drugs)

barely legal to grown to grow up
                   (too young to vote)

Yellow Is the Color of Fear

in the quiet of the night the owls hoot

violence erupts and guns do shoot

colors become enemy lines that many will cross

another random drive by another tragic loss

preying on innocent lives in the jungle

waking up everyday is a struggle

hiding behing dumpsters from the cops

the cycle always continues and never stops

death is in the air mixed with violence and rape

blocks upon blocks covered with yellow tape

you say that the drug game is run by the blacks

i know for a fact that the white man introduced crack

statistics proove that a weak man will drop a dime

while a woman will stand up and do the time

too be real you must stand up for your rights

and be willing to go out with a fight

despite the outcome if we believe in our facts

and understand the truths

no greater power can one hold over the other

respect few fear none

Broken Heart

funny no matter how much you love someone it's never enough

you can change your ways or meet them half way

you can comprimise and desquise how you feel for love

in the end nothing is ever enough

they say that true love exists but true love is what hurts you the most

finding yourself comes through pain and hurt

no exceptions in the laws of love just broken rules

sometimes when we try to hard we loose focus on what really matters

the time we invest in to falling in love cannot be accounted for

we cannot get it back or get recognition for it it's lost forever

total eclipse of the heart as the song says total emotional breakdown

some people live for love some people love for life

some people never live because they are lost in love

we can search for the rainbow or wish upon on a star

in the end nothing matters it's over for real

in that moment we loose reality on what could destroy us

we say with conviction that we will never fall in love again

until we become blind by what we can't see

the circle of life revolves around us endlessly

for we are just mere pawns being played by the facts of life

Serenity

i see many times where i should have died during my previous style of living

someone something was watching over me i rather not assume

the matter of will is the more difficult part of me

i have experienced enough emotioinal pain through failed attempts at love

anxiously awaiting for the calm after the storm

i tend to hinder myself to be released from self confinement but convince myself to go forward

i am no longer a slave to misery or regret

yet in so many ways enslavement still threatens myself my desires and my dreams

without dreams i'm stuck

i must go deep inside the core of my being to free myself

until i do i will always be running and never truly at ease

insanity dominates my life at times and the essence of my disease

i tend to get chained to negativity with no cutting loose

power can remove these character defects from me when i don't practice deception

i like the idea of admitting defeat it sets me free

Timing:The Art of War

its
  as
     if
                 INCUBUS
IS SITTING BACK THERE JUST WAITING TO TORMENT ME

I
 MAY
LOOK
      WOUNDED
but its an ILLUSION

         THE GREAT MAN
what does He want all of a sudden
                                              whats His game

i know His intentions are good but im TIRED of being protected

   L
    A
      T
        C
          H
            I
              N
G onto it may distort my memories
i try to let go but the fear paralyzes me
its a mixture of REALITY and FANTASY

i havent REPRESSED any of it

the slate is CLEAR MENTAL STABILITY
                             PROPERLY PREPARED PATIENT

confirming my preconception that WE ARE ALL USELESS AND WEAK when we sleep

                                                VISCERALLY
 IM READY TO BEGIN
                                     THIS NEW JOURNEY

Its Happening Everywhere

she had enough curiosity to kill a thousand cats but not about sex

she awoke to him on top of her AGAIN then a quick blow to the head

she had been stricken temporarily dumb

suddenly she had a sharp penetrating eruption of rage and hatred and alien that belonged in
as science fiction movie

on a deep instincual level he knew what was coming next

his conscious mind could not-or would not-put a name on it but his subconscious knew what
it was

he fled out the door in a blind-panic as wide-eyed and spooked as a dumb animal reacting to
headlights

she had a moment of vulnerability as the door swung shut behind him

her exquistely shaped and hormoniously related features bespoke sensitivity and refinement
opposite of a parody of seduction

she felt like she was attacked by a pack of rats

was she able to go after her attacker this time the fifth time the last time she knew who he
was and where he lived

she quietly moved around his bed as he drooled and dreamed and put the knife to his throat
then slapped him in the face

he began pleading and apologyzing squrrying and ceaselessly crying in what almost sounded
like a guttural foreign language

finally she made her point and left him to drown in his guilt but as soon as she closed the
door she heard a "BANG"

he took his own life he ended their pain all she could do was scream"NO DAD!"

TO MANY CHILDREN ARE ABUSED BY RELATIVES AND WE IGNORE THE SIGNS
THESE ARE THE ONES WE LOVE WE MUST OPEN OUR EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unrelated To Anything

she tries not to appear COLDLY CYNICAL

her posture is LOOSE and RECEPTIVE

her body pitched PROGRESSIVELY FORWARD

                                        relaxation
no movement at all but the HEAVE of her CHEST

                                THE ULTIMATE RESISTANCE
    vivdictive

maybe shes TOO rigid

                                   A PSYCHOLOGICAL SPECIMEN

getting uncomfortable with her UNCONSCIENCE

GRUMBLED WITH PLEASURE

COMPLICATED TRUTH be known

DISORGANIZED IN GENERAL
                                    EMBARRASSINGLY OBVIOUS
DEDICATION
                                    REST PEACEFULLY

I Eat and Breathe Poetry Soup

this room to me is where i feel safe
it is my second home it is a real place

i can write my poems and express myself
never having to worry about anyone else

alot of talent all from around the world
from grown folks to little boys and girls

we all speak from the heart in different ways
writing what comes from our mind each day

a mixture of flavors all on one sundae
everyone taking a dip

all circles of life from all over the place
reaching out to be heard

with open minds and blessings prevail a true poet
some born with talent some still dont know it

our fingers touch eachothers mind
in time through our words a friend we'll find

so keep poetry soup alive and lets rock n roll
for this room is kept alive through our great poets soul

to all the wonderful poets out there nice to write with you

Devil Woman

she devil woman turned me into her slave

munipulated my mind and raped my soul

had me pleading and begging for her to stop

yet she crawled on top and began to grind

with her vice grip and her tunnel of hell

she put me into a devil's spell

crying icicles instead of swetting bullets

heart frozen from her devil's snare

killing me softly enjoying every bit

i was lost and confined to her devilish world

blood red lips succulent tits fire hot as she dips in my hips

molding my body into her own creation

turning my world inside out

loosing touch with my own reality

becoming a part of her fantasies

wanting to break free of her spell on me

sentencing me to a life of bondaged love

one drink not enough ten drinks too much

this is what happenes when you fall in love
