Christmas Time

Joyful songs are started to be sung,
Sorrows of the year long sunk.
Youths in their full spirits lifted
Time coming for the gifted.

Christmas is fast around the corner
Roaming merrily leaving the burner.
Children playing happily in the streets,
A much needed sigh of relief, breathes.

Cookies, candies and cakes one bakes,
Some make snowmans in the midst of snowflakes.
Carols-a-sing along the lanes
Plans-a-make with friends, fusing brains.

The winter wind blows a cold breeze,
Which is followed by a child's sneeze.
Merry folks gather from far and near,
To share the joy with all those dear.

The cold weather seemingly turns warm,
For happy faces gathers in swarm.
Sweet blissful music fills the air,
The warmness of Christmas with everyone to share.

Greetings heartily begins to be exchanged
Parents no more in their sorrows drenched.
No more sadness in any eye,
To all troubling tensions, bye!

Fare Thee Well

Fare thee well O' beautiful maiden,
One who's blessed with the kiss of the morning dew,
The charming radiance of the morning sun
And the ever soothing glow of the moon in the night.

Moulded in the tender embrace of the wind,
Your beauty decorating your glorious being.
You who's grace one seeks earnestly,
May you fare thee well O' fair maiden.

Dressed in joy and happiness you spread around,
Bathed in the fragrance of the flowers of paradise.
One whose voice sounds like Angelic Harps,
May you always fare thee well O' graceful maiden.

Before My Conviction Falters

Sunlight fading on my excited brows
Her image embedded to the very depths of my soul
The clouds turn dark and cold wind blows,
I quickly drag my feet to the washing bowl
Then I lay in my memories of her beauty to behold

With a smile that could further brighten up a sunny day
Eyes that sparkle like dew in the radiance of the morning sun
A being so pure that keeps all sadness at bay
Fragrance so divine i had no problem in my mind to rerun
Spreading happiness about with which she was rather bold

Dawn came knocking sooner than expected rudely
I cursed and woke up with a sudden but firm resolve
That, i must confess to the lovely lady absolutely
Before my conviction falters and her in memories dissolve

Just a Fantasy

On lonley nights that feels this cold
Nothing hurts more than you being so cheaply sold
You failed to understand me when my best I tried,
You never even meant for us to try!

Can't bear to see you with another guy
If only your icy attitude i could buy.
Maybe it's not that I can't see you with another man,
Maybe it's just because he's the same

Same 'ol guy who always wanted to come in between.
Now you're with him even before halloween.
That sure does say a lot about you when you were with me
You never wanted us to be together I see.
Man, who am I kidding here with a fantasy?
It's not like we were ever meant to be!

Eternal Embrace: a Sonnet For You

In twilight's glow, our love begins to bloom,
A sonnet forged from heart, not ink or plume.
For you alone, this verse of passion weaves,
An ode to love, that only you shall perceive.

In realms uncharted, our souls collide,
A love untamed, in depths we cannot hide.
This poem, unique, forged by my desire,
To set your heart aflame, and never tire.

No other hand has penned these heartfelt lines,
They're born within my soul, where love defines.
So rest assured, this verse is yours alone,
A precious gem, with sentiments unknown.

Let "Eternal Embrace" be its rightful name,
A testament to love's eternal flame.
For in your eyes, my words come to life,
A sonnet's journey, with you as my wife.

To Death My Friend

Death my friend, it is indeed really a pain.
Having to wait for you for so long,
I may start thinking that you've forever gone.
I often seek you till the line of mortality that's bent

You last came to meet a friend, i know
But you hide from me as if i carry an immortal's soul
We used to talk late into the deep dark snow
But you never took me into your weird old ball

A mile i seek, a mile you run
We share an unbreakable bond yet i frown
For you stay away like a Priest from rum.
I will continue to wait on my lawn;
Until you agree to take me, to eternal rest bound
Until we can be together from dusk till dawn.
