Spring Returns

Of all the blooms that herald spring's return,
The crocus reigns supreme, a regal sight,
As if the earth has shed its wintry stern,
Its vibrant hues a welcome, bold, and bright.

The petals, delicate as morning dew,
Unfurl like silken ribbons in the breeze,
Bring hope and joy to all that's come anew,
And dance upon the meadow with such ease.

Like tiny cups of hope, they dot the land,
A promise of the life that's yet to come,
And when the snow has melted, they expand,
A symphony of color, one by one.

So let us savor every crocus bloom,
As spring returns and banishes the gloom.

What Is Love, In the Eyes of Six Years Old Child

A kiss from my mom each night on my forehead,
A smile and a hug when I fall, from my dad,
Forgiveness from my brother when I play with his toy-car,
or from my sister when I eat the last candy from the jar,
A lick on my cheeks from Max, my new dog,
Miss Piggy, together with Kermit The Frog.

The hands of my grandfather throwing me up high,
The grandmother's pear compote or her sweet apple pie.
Lucas, my neighbor when he brings me his cat
Olivia, my cousin, letting me borrow her beautiful red hat.
The rain when we jump, just for fun, in the mud,
A soft blow on my scars, bandages for blood.

Love S Sonnet

What is love, and how should I describe it?
A smile, a heart that beats only for me,
A flickering star in your eyes, that lit,
Blue sky, a high mountain, the deepest sea.

Winds that gently carries all your whispers,
Flowers that smell like your breath in mornings,
The cold spring's rain giving me soft shivers,
The freedom of the soul, spreading its wings.

The rising sun that caresses your hair,
The rain that mingles with your happy tears,
The breath of life, the water, and the air,
Blissful seconds, hours, decades, hundred years.

My love for you will never cease nor die,
"Would none had ever loved but you and I!"

Times of Lord

Born in this world
Born in these times
Times weird and scary
Times dark and cold
Cold rains
Cold winds
Winds blow
Winds roar
Roar strikes
Roar enemy
Enemy soldiers
Enemy agents
Agents of evil
Agents of dark
Dark streets
Dark shadows
Shadows spread
Shadows dance
Dance music
Dance mask
Mask routine
Mask mode
Mode control
Mode of life
Life changed
Life of songs
Songs of praise
Songs of worship
Worship night
Worship God
God of love
God of truth
Truth speaking
Truth lover
Lover of humanity
Lover of peoples
Peoples of sin
Peoples lost
Lost happiness
Lost hope
Hope regained
Hope restored
Restored behavior
Restored life
Life eternal
Life in The Lord
Lord Jesus
Lord of all
All
Jesus

June

No more school, I sleep till noon,
Oh, how much I love you, June!
In the garden, I smell roses perfume
Oh, how much I love you, June!
Butterflies and a small bee,
everywhere are following me.
I play hide and seek with the sun,
Everything I do is fun.
I can fly my kite so high,
Next to airplanes in the sky,
I’ll go fishing, ride my bike,
I will do all that I like.
I’ll go to the pool, a lot
June is perfect, not too hot.
Oh, and the ice cream…chocolate, fudge,
June's the best! You be the judge,
I will meet with cousins, friends,
I hope the summer never ends.

Mom

You held me in your arms for the first time,
Warm tears were rolling down on your white cheeks,
And for the first time, I felt the love's delight,
I understood that this is how love speaks.

Drops of happiness betrayed your infinite excitement,
Our two hearts as one then began to beat,
entering in a new stage of love's enlightenment,
Your smile was angelic, and your breath so sweet.

So many sick days you watched over me,
Whispering with love, “You’ll be fine!”
So many late nights spent on your knee,
You taught me love's reason to shine.

You were there with me when I took the first step,
You taught me when to move and when to stand still,
When to leave my worries on the doorstep,
You have inspired me with your power and your will.

You gave me comfort in pain and sorrow,
You were always by my side,
You taught me what's tomorrow,
You taught me how to read and how to write.

You walked with me on my first day of school,
The first book that we read together, it’s now long past,
You taught me that to be myself is cool,
To live each day as the first one or maybe as the last.

With love and tender, you corrected all of my mistakes,
I still remember how you told me; You are the best!
No matter how much hurts or what it takes,
You always have to live the truth and stand the test.

You taught me to say what I think and what I feel,
Without any fear, always watching the sky,
To dream but also to know what is real,
To be powerful when I'm down and modest when I'm up high.

You taught me to comfort others with my love,
And to spread the Light, all around me,
You told me that I am a child of God's above,
You taught me to believe in Eternity!

So many precious things you planted in my heart,
You gave me life and taught me how to live it too,
You're up in Heaven, but we'll never be apart,
Today, tomorrow, always Mother, I Love You.

Red Poppies

Born of the blood of heroes... shed,
They are watching devoted near the graves,
Dressing up the altar of those who now are dead,
Dancing free in the wind, no longer slaves!

Like the flames of fire flooding the fields again,
With their fragile bodies adorning the earth,
A sweet perfume in the summer's rain,
A place of hope, a place for the new birth,

With their red tears, the fields are watered
and, even though they are still sad, they sing
With their heart exhausted, shattered,
After any winter is always coming spring!

It Is Raining On People With Angels and Flowers

Today, Heaven made its wings out of the clouds,
and it's raining on people with angels and flowers,
The sun is red like a bashful child,
and the field is filled with poppy flowers dancing in the breeze.

A ray, wanting to be chicer,
has associated discreet with a daisy,
because both had the same thought;
to be tiaras for those on earth.

The trees are dressed in fresh green,
A spring wind, whistles a ballade for panpipes,
The birds gather in choirs and chirp a new song.
It's May, and I am happy!

Every night I dance with the stars,
I'm thinking of Eternal Spring,
A drop of Heaven smoothly dripped into my soul,
Ah, how beautiful the month of May is!

Salvation Acrostic

Surely He hath borne our griefs,
And our sorrows He hath carried,
Loving us, murderers and thieves,
Values He hath saw in us,
All we have gone astray, like sheep
Turning each of us to our ways,
I was putting Him on the cross,
Our sins, our transgressions
Not His, was upon Him, the chastisement of our peace.

Uvalde

A dark shadow wraps the earth,
springs of tears spring up in the saddened hearts,
never-ending rains of hurt and pain,
the sun fades,
the stars lost their light,
so many questions unanswered,
mourning songs echo the suffering souls,
the silence cries out,
the scream is silent,
parents weep for their children
"refusing to be comforted,
because they are no more",
the angels are sad,
God is crying,
way too early, white roses bloom in heaven,
way, way too early.
