Finding Greatness Poem
(By GreatFaith)
My human heart fails me.
My soul is burdened with crisis.
And strong is it’s depravity,
Vengeance is longed with savagery.
They say it’s worse than this,
My human heart fails me.
The sorrow and pain exceeds thee,
And hopefulness isn't hard to miss.
And strong is it’s depravity!
Fear holds me in captivity!
My heart wants their blood to fall from a tree!
My human heart fails me.
How could I think so carelessly?
My heart says lies are bliss,
And strong is it’s depravity.
Doesn’t it know, truth is morality?
It’s feelings are valid, it insists.
My human heart fails me,
And strong is it’s depravity.

Finding Greatness Poem
{Described below is my country}
God needed some drama
So God created you.
There might be some trauma
But what else is new?
Your a cunning disgrace
However worthy of praise,
And your constant strife exceeds you.
Humble when needed,
Thankful when treated,
But no one dare mess with you
When duty is calling,
You might get a bit clumsy,
However you fight for what’s true.
When others show dismay,
You are “stunning and brave”
And then you degrade...you.
Then the two voices clash
And you’re once again slashed,
Straight down the middle.
Remember, at the end of the day
Hmm...how do I say,
You are almost like a riddle.
But one thing is true
You have to love you
If it’s true you want to improve.
So take away this,
When overwhelmed in crisis,
We must keep a good mood.
You’re bitter and sweet,
But it’s because of good things,
That I desperately love you.

Finding Greatness Poem
Broken trust brings a nation’s end.
The Elite lie as we wash their feet.
We tried discourse with unwilling men;
We can’t agree on what is seen.
A great nation brought to the edge,
To the edge of the abyss.
All because of what they said
Of the people that resist.
People say “let the nation rest
In the grave of history.”
All because of what they read
Of lies called a “News Story.”
People help bring in her death.
“Division is the way to peace.”
Enemies cheer on when they see
Our suicidal fantasies.

Finding Greatness Poem
The purity of his heart was stolen from him,
They filled it with black and forgotten dreams.
And surely He knows all his sins,
But he hasn’t forgotten its impurity.
His mind divided against itself,
War and pain is all he's seen.
“That’s right, that’s when he fell!”
His enemies are prepared to say.
Surely, you cannot stand against yourself?
Uncertain and afraid,
Fear never sunk this deep before.
He screams to the heavens that day,
And for a moment he soared.
One day He will heal
The mind they ravaged and tore.

Finding Greatness Poem
Bed laden and illness stricken;
Breath toiled, health forsaken.
Sleepless nights for illness sake,
Cold shivers and shakes for days.
The doctors vexed and wrong it seems,
She is left to die in her dreams.
But after nights of tearful prayers,
The Father heard and proved His care.
The morning after a tearful night,
She woke up to a window breeze
And breathed deeply in the air.
No sign of the cough was there.
She walked out of the room that day,
Her parents shocked; they choked their breaths.
They hadn’t seen her walk for weeks
And she only danced within their dreams.
Cheerly, they yelled out a praise;
Perplexed but all truly amazed.
She said, “God remembered me.”
They all were graced by humility.

Finding Greatness Poem
I laid me head, a-bed in haste.
I dream a place was left to waste.
A sign of life, no, not a trace.
This build and hall have fell from grace.
Dust; the bust roof withered away,
Pieces like torn veil hung, decayed.
This place I knew but all in vain;
But a dim, lit room, I surveyed.
I knew it well, this place of work.
It looked of dread, the smell was worse.
Nothing I saw, but something lurked
And, deep within I felt a curse.
While I was turned, it grabbed my arm.
Thrust into a wall; yet too harmed,
I saw it close not from afar…
Towered height and thin with black skin
Long sharp nails and a dark long chin.
Its white eyes pierced me deep within,
That monster thing, it worked a grin.
Then, it punched me into the ground
Injured, I could not move around.
Its screeched, growl was a fearful sound!
It liked something of what it found.
It raised its nail high above me,
Bursting blood as it went through me.
Gargling coughs and busted breaths,
Grueling pain and throbbing chest.
A big, belly hole deep within,
Bleeding life, and my sight seem glim.
I knew these pains will not be mend,
I breathed my last, and I was dead.
Awake I lay, so feared I was,
I felt it all, but all not some.
I wonder what my mind has done,
The soul and mind, they must be one.

Finding Greatness Poem
Tis’ was a frightful night,
For all set sail on the ship Delight.
All men both heavy and frail
Took pleasure as the only detail.
Tis’ was a frightful night,
For all set sail on the ship Delight.
For they’ve not known the storm to be,
The clouds mighty, and strong the sea.
For all the sun’s light was swallowed up,
The overcast sky made a dreary night,
For all set sail on the ship Delight.
They take pleasure in gold and drinks,
They lay upon the table their feet,
They dress themselves in great luxury,
For pleasure is all they seek.
Tis’ was a frightful night,
For all set sail on the ship Delight.
The rain poured down on their silky hair
And their cherished leather chairs.
Thunder clapped above the ocean,
A distraction from their decadent commotion.
Tis’ was a frightful night
For all set sail on the ship Delight.
For what men had gained
Was easily tossed into the waves.
The ship rocked back and forth,
And the ship’s ingeretity crumbled more and more.
People tossed about like dolls,
When just before they had no worries at all.
All is WRONG on ship Delight,
A ship that was meant to sail through the night,
A ship with no sorrows or cries,
Will turn into the ship of screams and fright.
Tis’ was a frightful night,
For all set sail on the ship Delight!
The beloved ship began to sink
And many levels succumbed to leaks.
All those beg the storm for mercy,
For all valued pleasure, firstly.
The storm answered and made declaration:
“Such is the human condition.”
Tis’ was a frightful night,
For all set sail on the ship Delight.
The ship has now gone down,
Along with all on board who drowned.
All earthly pleasures were lost,
And all the silver, Jewls, and drinks at great cost.
None of their comforts were free,
They should’ve cherished their unusual tranquility.
Tis’ was a frightful night,
For all set sail on the ship Delight.

Finding Greatness Poem
The Song of Hope, it sings aloud.
But, it’s all to me but a broken sound.
The Song of Hope is a tired tune,
At least to me and not to you,
It sings of good and future new;
But, all it gave is an unkept tomb.
In it lies my hopes and dreams,
A joyful past and cheerful glees.
It all has died long ago,
But, hope still sings even so!
Can’t Hope know what is dead is dead?
Why can’t Hope know what was said was said?
Hope is a clang in my ears and a pain in my chest!
A denier of truth and a noise without rest!
I tire of you, oh Song of Hope;
Why should I fly to fall so low?
Yet you grip my heart even so.
Oh yes you do, oh Song of Hope.

Finding Greatness Poem
Empty spaces
All dark places
Scary faces
Without traces
Broken dreams
And darkness' screams
Promised rivers of gold streams.
Drapped in misery, cast in fear,
That's when all black voices appear.

Finding Greatness Poem
A waging storm my mind is,
The tall waves crash over me,
And the fire is of destruction.
For in it is my love and dreams.
My dreams are ashes, and like wind,
They are whisked away.
As I see freedom, singed by flames.
But there, by brave men, who struggle
Against its heat and its bondage.
No man withstands the lightning
And thunder, for it comes and goes
In extreme flashes of terror.
Let all men fear the rain of sorrow,
And The Dark Clouds of Discouragement.
For pestilence kills the body,
But despair kills the light of the soul.
Where there is no light to be found,
There will also be no body
