Desperate Days

Bed laden and illness stricken; Breath toiled, health forsaken. Sleepless nights for illness sake, Cold shivers and shakes for days. The doctors vexed and wrong it seems, She is left to die in her dreams. But after nights of tearful prayers, The Father heard and proved His care. The morning after a tearful night, She woke up to a window breeze And breathed deeply in the air. No sign of the cough was there. She walked out of the room that day, Her parents shocked; they choked their breaths. They hadn’t seen her walk for weeks And she only danced within their dreams. Cheerly, they yelled out a praise; Perplexed but all truly amazed. She said, “God remembered me.” They all were graced by humility. (copyright 2022 GreatFaith)
