Thrown To Humility

The purity of his heart was stolen from him, They filled it with black and forgotten dreams. And surely He knows all his sins, But he hasn’t forgotten its impurity. His mind divided against itself, War and pain is all he's seen. “That’s right, that’s when he fell!” His enemies are prepared to say. Surely, you cannot stand against yourself? Uncertain and afraid, Fear never sunk this deep before. He screams to the heavens that day, And for a moment he soared. One day He will heal The mind they ravaged and tore.
