A Day Like Any Other Day

Today is just 
One of those days

You wake up knowing
That ahead you must face
That one thing you want to erase

It takes so long to get out of bed
Wishing these thoughts weren’t in
Your head

As your feet touch the floor 
You stand and reach for the door
But before you can turn the knob
You break down and sob

These feelings you have deep inside
Are trying so hard to come alive
They linger in the back of your head
The next thing you know you’re back in bed.

What Should But Couldn'T Be

Everywhere around me people see,
The person who they want me to be.
Deep inside I wish to escape,
The torture and torment that I must face
Because the real me can’t come to place.

I wish so much that people knew
That deep inside what I wanted to do
I want so bad to be happy and glad
But it just cant happen which is just so sad.

Everyday I must look at you
Knowing what is isn’t true
I want so much to express my love
From deep inside, But it makes me want to hide

Seeing that all is just a fantasy
I much now realize you can’t be with me
It makes me sad what could have been
If it weren’t for my feeling deep within
