Schizophrenic

Schizophrenic

Darkness floods a broken mind
Screaming out for calmness to find
Sanity drowns in torrential tears
Crowded in loneliness that no one hears

With open mouth words haunt the air
Medication needed ,but to dark to care.
Menacing shadows breed violence assured
As notice is taken of the voices heard

Changes are rife with character sway
Always forgotten some would say.
Two people present but one body and soul
One taken over by madness so cold

Unreasonable words drip rashly from tongue
Actions and gestures alarmingly strong
Care arrives to calm and console
Medication induced for rest and resolve

Effectiveness swift as chaos retreats
As darkness and anger take a back seat
A tormented mind rests once more
For exactly how long we are never so sure.

A New Path

To wake beside a love long searched
No longer a dream but reality unearthed
Ecstasy of knowing I need not leave
Holding you tight as in sync we breathe

Sun beams pierce the shade of our nest
As on to your shoulders my kiss comes to rest.
In this moment true love floods my heart
Never again needing to ever be apart

You stir and wake as your eyes open wide
Remembering now you will rise by my side
First mornings kiss pupates to passion
Love making ensues in all kinds of fashion

Physical demands with lust of intent
We lay and rest our bodies so spent
And unlike before we now rest as one
Sneaking around and hiding is done.

Finally we both have found our true paths
My beautiful girl and her naughty laugh
Today the day that we exchange our hearts
And cherish them dearly till death do us part.

Pitch Black Abuse

Pitch Black Abuse

Childhoods are cherished by most it’s true.
Others are scarred by darkness ensued.
Darkened room with wall of ears.
Illicit stories from over the years
Hand front of face it can’t be seen.
Under darkness occurs a disturbing scene.

Supposedly safe this institute
still a child’s voice is firmly on mute.
Protection was lost to a child so young
Position too trust not bite your tongue.
An enjoyable day is how it was said
voices heard from a strangers bed
Safety and comfort are so far away
Forced to do what the abusers say

Broken in mind with trust issues too
Adults need answers why me and not you.
Barriers go up but some break down
Suicide, anxiety in darkness they drown.
So what of these monsters in society today
Twisting their evil to abuse again

But the abused are braver and silent no more
Helping authorities to knock evils door
Justice no solace for horrors endured
Broken no more cause finally heard

Seed

Seed
Unshackled through force , gliding on air
Liberation complete , nothing compares.
My journey essential in hope of my kind
A task not made easy by concrete and iron

My fuel carry’s on with occasional fail
Longevity unknown to fill my sail.
Changes in course all to swift
Suddenly slowed with gentle drift.

Oh no oh please don’t drop me here
Just tarmac and pavement I fill with fear
Relief is had with gusted blow
My journey not ended as on I go.

Dare I tempt fate with hope of the dream
Ending my journey at some place green.
It’s all I thought for the end of my task.
When high above in my mothers grasp.

Now of no choice I begin to fall free.
This looks like the end I won’t be a tree.
Suddenly crash I can’t move I’m stuck
Ironically saved by this huge metal truck

My carriage is stopping as I view the scene.
All kinds of trees and fields of green.
Forced from this monster I lift one more time
But drop me honestly I really don’t mind.

I’m lucky I think as I calmly lay at rest
In a place like my dream With hope for the best
And although at times I really could not see.
One day it looks hopeful I will be a tree.

The Fallen

The Fallen

Ordered not asked to carry out the deed.
Over the trench wall at hesitant speed.

Scared and frightened but with country at heart
A nations men surge into the dark.

A bullets near miss that screeches by.
Only to turn and see a friend where he lies.

Bogged down in mud and laden with grief.
Still running forward with gritted teeth.

But what of the goal for the task in hand
Just hundred yards of blood soaked land.

Men and beasts cry out in vain
Suddenly never to be heard again.

Numbers depleting wounded and worn.
no chance was had at the head of the storm.

Fallen are all and for what we ask.
As we try to make sense of this forsaken task.

Though more will come a million and more
But only to lay by their brothers before.

For freedom and a nations pride.
Our boys and men laid down their lives.

What must they think that we did not learn
Warring again and making hearts yearn

But now we honour you in life and death.
The millions of you that drew your last breath

Poppies are worn and reefs are laid.
For every brave soldier sadly slain.

A trumpet sounds the final call.
As we say thank you brave people one and all.

An Autumn Dance

An Autumn Dance

Took upon and forced, a blustery Autumn dance.
Partnered in routine , rays shimmer to enhance.
Natures pallet abundant with autumnal shades of all.
Summer heat withdrawing as we are painted into fall.

Voices of the trees flirting to a scatter.
Sporadic in there movement with rustling chatter chatter.
They come to us with hopeful hearts to play within our day.
With disappointment only we sweep them all away.

It comes to now a slowing end an autumn
curtain fall
Covering all so soft and deep we wait for winters call.
So now the trees stand tall and bare quiet with voices lost.
From now to spring all we’ll hear is the howl of winters ghost.

A Pair For Life

A Pair for Life

The start of my life really just for show
Never placed on the ground just covering toes
Different devices to keep me in place
Buckles , elastic , Velcro and lace

We run and jump we play as one
I hold my breath as through puddles we run.
Pick up your feet don’t scuff my skin
I want a long life not thrown in the bin.

Through our lives we’ve danced and played
Keeping you warm and dry each day
Occasions to smile with others to be sad
You changed my facade to follow a fad.

Older you are with steps not so sure.
Fighting your illness the one with no cure
Comfy I am now only worn inside
One last time we walked slow and tired

We changed many times through out the years
Going it alone or copying peers.
Sadly your gone and in a box I will drop
Given for good cause to the charity shop.

Angels Trust

Angels Trust

In angels we trust our loved ones souls
Be it taken to soon or graced of long life
Quietly we sit bereft of reason to tragedy
White feathers gliding gently remind us you are near

We break silence to seek solace from hurt and from fear.
Searching our minds , eyes flicker and focus on memories past.
Our deepest thoughts fall locked in amongst tears.

Clarity of emotion is sought as our friends kind words are all we hear
Soothing , calming and easing our fears
Broken it’s true but strong to admit.
So only in you do we trust in there souls
Two young women who will never grow old.

Robins Soul

Robins Soul

I hear you my friend come sit a while.
As nature’s earth is heaped to a pile.
I see you now, so come please eat
There’s food for you in this muddy peat

Taking your fill I watch you most
Could you actually be a heavenly ghost.
Eyes so deep you hold my stare
Sending a message your sworn to care.

Halted in feast now sat so long
As if to remember the words of your song.
Now sing for me please , your delicate tune
Of which it’s beauty I’m never immune

In a single note I am froze and bereft
Remembering love ones in life and in death
Vision turns misty with eyes full of tear
Brought to me knowing a loved one is near.

Bewitching you are with your reddened breast trusting my company as we sat at rest
Goodbye for now my enchanting friend
With cheer in the knowledge I will see you again
