Robins Soul

Robins Soul I hear you my friend come sit a while. As nature’s earth is heaped to a pile. I see you now, so come please eat There’s food for you in this muddy peat Taking your fill I watch you most Could you actually be a heavenly ghost. Eyes so deep you hold my stare Sending a message your sworn to care. Halted in feast now sat so long As if to remember the words of your song. Now sing for me please , your delicate tune Of which it’s beauty I’m never immune In a single note I am froze and bereft Remembering love ones in life and in death Vision turns misty with eyes full of tear Brought to me knowing a loved one is near. Bewitching you are with your reddened breast trusting my company as we sat at rest Goodbye for now my enchanting friend With cheer in the knowledge I will see you again D.J.L
