The Love of a Family

We join together in the good and bad.
Even helping each other when we are mad.
We laugh together
We cry together
We have a bond that sticks together
When we are down you help pick us up
You never, ever give up
We are family that we are.
We have come oh so far.
When were sad you make us smile,
It makes our family all worth wild.
We all have shared some rough times
But we stick together, so we are tough and we always come out on top.
My family means the world to me
And knowing that your family will always be is the greatest gift that God has sent
to me.

Our Day At the Beach

We lie on the beach
With our toes in the sand
Lying on our backs hand in hand.

You run to deep, blue water
So brave, so happy
You don’t realize that the waves are a bit to choppy.

The sun begins to get hot
The air is windy
The clouds are as white as a marshmallow
The planes fly through the air without a care.
The children laugh and play and say hurray.
It must be your happiest day.
We start to built a sandcastle
Not realizing they are such a hassle.
But you say “Mommy we can get through it”.
It starts to get late, so we make a debate
Should we stay or should we leave
The sun is going down, the sky is getting dark
So we pack up our things and start to head back.

How Could You Leave Us

I lie awake in my bed.
It keeps running through my head.
I can't believe you are dead, you are gone.
This feels oh so wrong.
I can't believe I won't see your smile, hear your laugh, see your eyes.
It makes me really want to cry.
You left us here all alone,
Making our warms hearts turn to cold.
You said you loved us, you said you cared, if you did then you still be here.
You swim through the ocean, soar through the breeze, you are what surrounds
us, at least that’s what I believe.
You were many things to all of us.
What went wrong?
What went through your head?
What pushed you to the limit?
I think about it every waking minute.
The questions will never be answered, never go unsaid, all because you are
dead.
All we feel now is loss, sorrow, pain, anger, guilt, sadness, very little happiness;
I am surprised we haven't hit madness.
Help us live, help us love, help us move on, help us be one.
